 		It has been a long time that I've been scared by something that wasn't a jump scare, but seeing Evan talk to nothing and then pick up the knife as he advances towards Jeff? Scared me to death. Doesn't help that I just got a coffee maker and I'm caffeinated to high heaven.

I want to send an email, but how do I get my BMI? You probably need a scale for that, right?

 		Can someone make my year and do a transcript of Evan's dialogue in the kitchen sequences? I'm on my puny Netbook, forgot my headphones while traveling for the holiday and the tinny speakers on this thing are for shit. I only caught a little of Evan's murmurings.

So, obviously, Evan is being used even though he is one of the most ardent Slender-opposers. This is nothing new, but I think we can assume all three of them are being equally manipulated. The Rake having Vince's phone is likely tied in, as is Jeff's mania. Obvious post is obvious.

Disturbing stuff. The question is, when is the kitchen footage taking place vis a vis their night shoot at Ryan's crash site?

Think about it: whenever Evan's been wacky and ridiculously brave, ie. attacking Slendy in Ashen Waste, he's channeling the guy we see now- cocky and brave. When he's doing the phantom tweets, we're seeing his HABIT personality. And then everywhere else, he's just Evan.

...Is it possible that Evan hurts Jeff, and this leads him to the police and then the mental ward? And the shots in the last hidden video of him and Damsel are from just near in the future?

Well there were 2 types of phantom tweets. The one's in capital letters and those in lower case. I can't remember which is the more calm one.
If he's NOT talking to another personality, I'm guessing he's remembering a past event. Maybe Evan is the HABIT corenthal speaks of who bought the other kids to him. Vinnie and Captain HABIT etc etc.

 		Okay, thanks for that. Very illuminating.

It seems to indicate HABIT is independent of SM, or at least a (rowdy) familiar thereof. More and more we seem to be dealing with a menagerie of monsters, given whatever is the deal with Vince's paperwork history - and Jeff's, which we now know exists.
