I actually took that as Habit!Evan just pretending to be Evan!Evan to lull Jeff into a false sense of security. It just seemed too sinister- especially with that meat cleaver o.o

Yeah, that's the impression I got. It was less "oh crap my friend caught me being weird" and more "muahaha you have seen too much and by the way I did not put down the cleaver".

He says "I was just talking out loud." Not "talking to myself." And I don't think that HABIT (or whoever) had given up control there. The way he was talking was entirely too... off, to be normal!Evan.

 		I sent in my application last night and was very scared all night. This morning there was fog EVERYWHERE, and on the way to my cousin's house for Turkey Day all I could do was stare out of the car window at the passing trees, worrying that I was going to see Slenders. =(

This series unnerves me too much.

Checked my email after I got home at ten o'clock. Received my acceptance e-mail six hours before. Creeped out.

THOUGHT!

Maybe whatever appeared in the doorway scared both Jeff and HABIT/whatever into backing down? If it was Slendy, there could have been some mind-wiping too, at least for Jeff, so whatever he saw there is buried or repressed. And maybe HABIT retreated, so to speak, leaving Evan to get mind-wiped. Leaving both Jeff and Evan standing in the kitchen, holding a camera and a knife, feeling rather confused and embarrassed.

Or something.

 		I feel as if it was still HABIT who was talking through Evan at the end of the video, and HABIT was just faking to sound normal. Just my though.

I...

I can see this happening.

Maybe Slenderman was all "dude you suck don't reveal yourself yet" and hit the reset button on both their brains. That would explain why nothing's been said, because Jeff was definitely running away at the end there and Evan looked like he had murder in his eyes 8|

 		I assume there's been mind-wiping for awhile. Otherwise why wouldn't Jeff talk to them or us about the Corenthal papers? Why can't they remember it, if they are those people? And yes, it makes no sense for Jeff to not mention the incident in the latest video, unless he has been affected by the intruder(s).

 		But even with mind-wiping, they COULD look at the videos they've posted. Continuous mind-wiping wouldn't make sense.
