They have said before that there are funny things going on with their account... perhaps it will be 'edited' by person or persons unknown without the time-warp shenanigans or something? Dunno, just a thought. Things are certainly heating up - I need some bloody wine, and quickly!

If it was Jeff who deleted the video, why would he have been so careless as to the clues he left behind? The whole "I WONDER WHAT HE IS TRYING TO TELL US" thing would be irrelevant if he didn't want anyone to know where he went.

But it's true that he's the only other person who could have deleted the video without supernatural intervention.

There's a difference between leaving clues to your location, which could be false to keep Evan and Vince further away, and having blatantly supernatural evidence sitting in plain sight of the people you're trying to protect.

Several little tidbits:

grieck: A refers to a character from another SM ARG called A Lack of Lexicon, a prankster who seems to be tormenting the main character with puzzles and stealing their account infor. We've solved several of the puzzles over in the thread there.

Moving on:

I think part of me just kind of facepalms at seeing the repeated references to HoL. I like originality too much, I guess..

Though, to be frank, I've seen another book referenced(in another SM ARG), but it's not so much referencing the book itself, but the possibility of a phenomenon within said book. Oh well. We'll see.

Hmm, since it was reposted maybe it was just an accident? How long was it down for?

From what I can see the video looks exactly the same. It's still encoding though, so if there's something subtle I couldn't tell. But the alternate universe phenomenon at around 30 seconds is still there.

On a meta side of things it could have been a Youtube error, or the HYBRID crew might have done something with the video that doesn't involve different footage, like a different form of encoding. If the deletion is game related it could be several things.

Edit: If they claim that they just posted the video an hour ago when it was up at around 2 AM EST last night, they could be playing up the idea of alternative universes/timelines. Could be the significance of the HoL quote about God existing in a separate, lonely universe.

The only difference I've found is in the tags where it used to say "everymanhybrid, jeff, missing" now it says "Where's, Jeff, everymanHYBRID" haha.

I forget if you can edit video tags after the fact on Youtube. If you can't then they might have deleted/reposted so that the tags would match the recent hashtag chain letter they started on Twitter, AKA #wheresjeff

No differences as far as i can tell.

I do like the idea that the physical reality of the video itself is as chimerical and fluid as time and the recorded reality appears to be in the video, and by extension, i suppose the subject matter of the Slenderman.

Of course, it may just be youtube screwing up again!
