There's a saying: the enemy of my enemy, is my friend. I think the two of them have been put into a situation, and working 'together' is, at the moment, beneficiary for them both, that's all. I wouldn't call them 'allies' so much as 'working together right now, because it's in line with what they both want'.


Seconding this. Slender Man may work WITH someone, but not FOR them.


That would be wrong.

Think of it like Roosevelt and Churchill teaming up with Stalin during WWII. The Brits and the Americans didn't particularly like or trust the Soviets, and vice versa, but they had to work closely together for a few years to fight a mutual enemy.

I think this is reenforced by that last line in evan's table rant. "let's talk about these fishes' or something similar, right?

That suggests some form of negotiation, rather then out and out conflict.

The first tweet implies that Slendy and the Rake do not do the typing.
The second implies that Slendy is there with HABIT at the computer.
The third (and the cut-off on the second) implies Slendy is forcing HABIT to do his typing somehow.

This is like a mix of my thoughts but made more awesome due to Slendy being more powerful and not owned by HABIT.

Aargh. I overlooked the dash at the end of the second email. Mixed-caps is almost certainly Slendy, then, and is able to...override HABIT? Possess HABIT while HABIT is possessing some human?

("Yo dawg, I heard you liked possessions, so I possessed your possessor....")

Or maybe this is a very subtle hint that HABIT is an embodied creature after all, not some spiritual entity.
