My thoughts on those phantom tweets:

- Looks like it's confirmation that HABIT is not Slendy OR the Rake. The Rake seems - in EMH at least - more animalistic, so it'd make sense that HABIT would refer to it as "Snoopy" and the Big Guy is... well. The Big Guy.

- That said, it does seem HABIT is at least claiming to be a compatriot of Slendy. It is even possible that Slendy - or perhaps some agent of his - did the last tweet after putting HABIT in the naughty corner. The shots of Evan "talking to himself" in the latest video suggests to me that whilst HABIT believes he's a free agent, as far as Slendy is concerned Slendy is in charge.

- Snoopy is a loyal dog. So if the Rake is "Snoopy", then it's the hunting hound for someone else (probably the Big Guy).

- Seeing Slendy referred to as the Big Guy makes me think of this Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff. Looks like the Big Guy wants that us all to keep it real about............... RABBITS.

ANYWAY. THEORIES.

I read back over all the posts about the new tweets, and here's what I got from the messages...

This confirmed a feeling I've been getting about HABIT since Ryan & STOH: he's trying to make himself look more important than he is. He's setting himself up as Slendy's equal partner, while Slenderman views him as a possibly useful annoyance. HABIT is like an obnoxious kid brother, tagging along with his legitimately cool big sibling, and then bragging to all his friends about how awesome he is. The "yankin' chains, rubbin' elbows" comment has more than a hint of bravado to it, just like Crazy!Evan/HABIT's ranting at Slendy.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not I think the non-caps tweeter is Slenderman. On the one hand, his earlier comments about being torn and fighting a power struggle, plus the argument about who "they" belong to-- which mirrors the argument in Ryan & STOH-- makes me think that if nothing else, non-caps and whoever Crazy!Evan was talking to are the same person. Looking back at the "rain" twitter fight, I think that HABIT is most likely some kind of possessing entity-- the comment about "inHABITING THIS SANCTUARY" makes me think that Slendy and HABIT are fighting over EMH!Evan. (Perhaps they fought over Fairmount!Evan as well, back in the day?)

So, basically, Evan's possessed by HABIT and occasionally manipulated by Slenderman, whom HABIT really wants to impress, and whom Evan really wants to kill. And the Rake is HABIT's useful pet.

Y'know. I guess.

"BUMPING SHOULDERS WITH THE BIG MAN," I think, sounds really condescending. As if, by putting himself on par and making it out to be "just another game" to him, HABIT is purposefully trying to insult Slenderman.

It only sounds like this because, again, he sounds like Karkat from Homestuck to me.
