Is it just me or is the way that Evan just kinda casually sits there holding a knife and being a badass and saying "I got a computer." like he does, seem like he's aware that we know HABIT is behind him and he's mocking us in a way?

I mean like the way he says "I got a computer." just sounds somehow seems to me like he's saying it for a reason like he should give a "you know what i mean ;D" wink at the camera afterwards. haha

I just get a vibe from this like HABIT wants us all to know that he is inHABITing Evan. I mean he edits hidden clips into videos of him possessing Evan as though he wants to make it as clear as possible to us even though the crew is clueless.

inb4 people saying that i'm looking too much into this

and now for a srs post!

so people have mentioned that the boys are taking everything (alex getting clawed up by the rake, ryan's death, etc.) alarmingly well.

and i'd just like to point out that this isn't a reality television show. there's no pressing need to capture a breakdown on camera, especially when the ones capturing said breakdown are either close friends of the sufferer or the sufferer himself. grief is, for many people, a very private thing. and as much as they love us, i don't think the boys want to share that with us. remember that what we see in the uploaded videos is not close to the whole story, not even with regards to their emotional states.

I can subscribe to that. HABIT seems to increase in confidence(and social communication) every time we hear from him. He's kind of a devil-may-care attitude regarding Slendy and the Rake. So it might make perfect sense for him to tip his hat/thumb his nose at us by clueing us into him inHABITing Evan.

Like "What the fuck are you going to do about it, Rabbit?"

Now that I think of it, Evan actually reminds me almost to a T of a high school buddy. Dude was into (and got me into) 80's metal and punk rock, semi-seriously believed he was a Vietnam vet and only vaguely understood what a computer was. And this was like, the year 2000 Smile

I still think it's weird Evan got a computer even though he apparently can't spell "USB" but remembering my buddy Brett I suddenly enjoy his character even more.

Edit: also totally post pics of the machete, probably in the off-topic thread where I should have posted

yeah i guess i never really thought of it like that, even though i have been in the same situation, its just weird seeing it when you know what exactly happened in detail and then to still see how they respond to the world around them as they are...idk but yeah

This may not be too out there. The way he's sitting there cleaning his nails at 0:24-0:28 makes it look at the very least like he's not into the whole HUB idea, maybe even opposed to it. Maybe HABIT knows this will even the odds a little and he's against it?

OR HABIT he edits those clips into the videos to make us think he's possessing Evan. All evidence points to him...because that's what HABIT intended, not because we're clever sherlocks. Now, maybe HABIT wants us to know the truth. In which case, that's great, we know the truth. But if he doesn't...then perhaps we should use caution.

Also, I feel like they totally one-up'd my idea:

Here's something I've been trying to advocate to others elsewhere - EMH would benefit greatly form this. Basically, contrive of some reason for your group of characters to need a website domain to hold all their youtube channels/blogs/twitter accts/etc (...) Make sure that the front page news section of the domain is structured like a blog. That way, you have a home port where new updates can be fit in chronological order, even when they're posted laterally throughout the web. (...)

So bravo good sirs. Nicely done

I can get behind this. They wouldn't want to appear more vulnerable then they already are.

Yeah I agree with this. They want to keep us updated on the events in their lives and such but just as you wouldn't walk up to your uninvolved friends and have a breakdown, they're not going to show their moments of horror and grief to us. They don't want to worry us because they know we care about them.

I've had people in my lives that have suffered immense losses and people actually say this exact thing that it "seems like they're not grieving that much." People forget that people don't just straight up start crying in front of others. It's actually way more realistic this way.

Why not have a machete in the closet? I've got one. Along with a morning star. The former is for the zombie apocalypse, because blades don't need reloading. The latter is... not really that useful, actually, but it looks kinda cool.

Considering how we have to tip toe around the THIS IS REAL LIFE thing, are we sure we want to link them the wiki? For all the useful stuff on the cache's and videos...there's a lot of gameplay stuff on there

Why don't YOU?

It was a gift from my dad, and I usually keep in next to me on my desk, but I put it in my closet since I was cleaning.

Picture tiem.
