About Evan, there's a really clever observation in, of all books, Trainspotting about having a psycho for a friend, that a vicious circle creates itself after a while because anything that X does is 'just X being X', which makes X behave even crazier since nobody is stopping him, etc. and after a while it becomes impossible to stop X's insane behaviour because you've established he's unstoppable. With the added bonus that Evan is way more pleasant than Begbie so they'll probably be able to tolerate him way better on a good day.

Tl;dr: Evan's behaviour falls under a version of Weirdness Censor (obligatory TvTropes Will Ruin Your Life warning).

They are all aware of something supernatural happening as of Joke's Over; Evan comes right out at one point after that and says, "Are we really gonna pretend this is just a prank or a joke still?"

At that point on, they do not, in fact, pretend it is a prank or a joke.

I've been thinking a lot since last night.. For some reason, I feel as if... As much as I appreciate that they're involving us a lot more, I just feel like they're suddenly dropping a lot of stuff that may never be explained now.. Like Damsel (Jeff seemed -really- insistent that they find her), finding Vince's phone in Alex's closet, the "puzzle" they found in Centralia... We've heard nothing about these things since they happened, and as much as I would love to believe that the EMH boys have everything covered.........

The Reunion rant sounded to me like Vince and Jeff both were in denial and Evan was trying to shake them. At this point, between stumbling on Slendy's packed lunch in Joke's Over and the mysterious time travelling medical papers, it's clear there's something really fucking weird going on, but they're ankle deep in denial (and, again, Weirdness Censor)ì.

The denial makes sense. Hell, what would you do if you realized, beyond any possible doubt, that you're being stalked by the Slenderman? Either you go on with your life as best as you can, tryig to find a solution, flipping between denial and panic, or you take the only possible way out, which is, AFAWK, suicide.

Or you're Evan, a person who believes any problem can be solved with large amounts of knife, and are thus willing to accept an insane reality because, let's face it, you weren't that sane to begin with.

So since we're all speculating (my favorite hobby) I'm just gonna join in.

In "Jeff", the guys go into Jeff's room and find a notebook. Over where you put your name/a class/whatever there's a piece of purple tape. We never see the inside of said journal. Jeff said he left because of a reoccurring dream and a feeling he had. Also with the book was a stick figure drawing of Slendy, despite Jeff not really believing that Slendy was real at that point.
Despite this being from months ago, I feel like it's important. Do we ever find out what was in that journal or what happened to it?

Also, the fact no one seemed concerned that Jeff was gone at that point makes more sense now that we know Jeff and Alex live alone.
