For those who missed it: basically they were answering some Q&A over ustream -- we would type up a question and they would answer over the webcam. There was some nerdery, and Evan was showing off his huge hunting knife like it was nobody's business, but it seemed that aside from the strangeness of focusing on the knife a lot (I guess drawing our attention back to Evan sharpening knives in the kitchen?) and the technical difficulties (which I'm not convinced were faked XD) there didn't seem to be any Slenderman influence. Not that I caught, anyways!

Ended up being there as well in the end (Sanguifer, just for the record).

It really seems that that knife might become an important plot device later. It's chekov's gun in melee form, for heaven's sake x)

They obviously didn't want to talk about the "real" slender man sighting too much. They appeared very uncomfortable when talking about that (kudos for acting skills!). Also, they said Evan had pretty much recovered from his spacing-out episodes, and so he had seemed to, but it wasn't that convincing to me.

I'm still absolutely sure that Slender Man will totally mess up Evan's dream log. And, of course, sleep deprivation experiment totally invites sightings. Hallucinations can, and probably will, occur. I'm just glad Evan isn't participating, what with his knife and all x]

All in all, a really well-done session that builds up to future events very neatly.

[unrelated: My love was greatly amused when I stated I'd be staying up 'til the morning, hoping to see some live SM action. I can't fathom why xD]

I enjoyed the stream. I actually sent them an e-mail about eating chocolate and dreams! I can't wait for the next update now. I like this more than Marble Hornets in a way, I like how they are getting the audience involved.

Evan kinda scared me with that knife though.

I like both of them but not as much as MH.

I love these "exercise" experts are wearing jeans and jorts for hikes, jogging and working out. One is overweight!

So we have one spin-off that jokes around with SlenderMan and initiates him showing up and another that is more like the original MB.

As of yet though, neither one of these want to take the leap to explain Slenderman's identity or reasoning for his actions.

Someone needs to step up the plate.

Well, I'm effectively creeped out. Looks like Evan needs his lighter and candles taken away. :P

Edit: I just realized one of the photos in the pile seems to have arrows leading to a hole in the middle of the woods. I think the other is a super-slendified Slenderman.

Still less creepy than the faces burnt out of the pictures. :|
