 		I think Evan laughing was perfect. He's always been kind of manic and it's only intensified since Joke's Over. He laughs at the inappropriate stuff.

I totally expected Slendy to show up in that corridor while he was alone.

To be honest, Evan's laughing when the guard was running towards them in the car was a little creepy, to me. I don't know, I think I'm especially twitchy about his behavior after "Ryan & STOH," but I thought it was a little maniacal.

Then again, it could have just been his way of dealing with the adrenaline rush of the whole thing.


It could be adrenaline escaping, Evan actually enjoying himself, or it could be "HABIT" having a good time. I just like Evan and seeing him setting himself apart from the other guys "OH SHI-" expression makes me enjoy his character more.

Yeah, I'm... nervous, about that, truth be told. They need to see them, but if Evan is inHABITed, I don't know how things are going to go if they suddenly see some of what he's been up to. Truthfully, I don't know how they're going to react when they see what ALL of them have been up to, apparently. Or will be up to. I don't even know anymore.

Anyway, I gave Jeff a heads up on Evan's disturbing behavior in some of those hidden videos. Hopefully no one will end up with a meat cleaver in their skulls.

I figured we'd probably get a video tonight because I went to bed early. But this?

And kudos to the guys for video structure.

After the static outside, I totally figured Slendy had "taken care of the guard" and Damsel had some Slendy related reason for not wanting to be released. And then that. Awesome.

I still wonder what Slendy was doing outside, though.

Wouldn't it be just delightful if Jessie got super (Habit) jealous of Damsel?

Yeah, we were talking about this a day or two ago when Rhi got through to Jeff. I'm hoping some of us sad bastards will be on No-Life Stand-By to email/gchat with them in order to try and mitigate the inevitable freakout. Obviously HABIT and co. do not want the boys knowing about the Evan situation, otherwise they'd be able to see that footage. If they do see the footage, then what happens? Does Evan flip out and attack them, or does SM take advantage of the situation to try and drive a wedge further between the guys? There has to be a way to help Evan that - again - doesn't leave him locked in the shed with a noose like Wilford Brimley in The Thing.

Meanwhile, I've been wanting to chat up HABIT myself to try and get a read on his state of mind and his connection to the Corenthals, old Evan vs. this Evan, what he sees himself as, etc., so we might begin to understand what the boys are facing. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get my gmail settings right to see if he's online even if he's in my Contacts. I'm such a luddite. WAT SHIFT KEY DO

I thought the same thing, I figured Damsel was gonna be all "Guys, what the hell, I WAS SAFE IN THERE." But her actual reason... oh, god, so much better. I nearly died laughing.

Actually, I'd rather see Jessie and Damsel be friends. Damsel needs friends. Then when Jessa comes back (I still have hope, dammit) they can be BFFs together and help the boys take down Slenders and the Rake and HABIT and then there will be a happy ending somehow.

I really need to believe there's going to be a happy ending. I've come to care about them entirely too much to think about them not coming out of it okay.

And now I really need to go to sleep because I have to be waking up for work in 7 hours. Sigh.

 		You know what the good thing is about this?

Damsel is a control group. She's not on any of the forums and she isn't a "fan", so she wouldn't be in on the mass trolling the guys think we're doing. She's also been on lockdown for a while now, so she wouldn't know about the HABIT trials or any of those shenanigans.

What worries me is if she sees what the boys can't, and they still can't, making her their only way to view the "hidden" footage and making her a MASSIVE target for whatever is wrong with Evan.

 		I never expected a happy ending. We all know how these stories end - everyone dies. But honestly, yeah, I'm now way overinvested and making idiotic plans like a huge geek to the point that I am constantly forgetting that the guys are going to do what they choose for the plot, and I keep thinking there must be a way to get the Special Edition Ending with everyone alive that unlocks Game+.

I know that if nothing else Evan is likely doomed to madness and death, but I keep trying to think around it. Jessa, however, total dogmeat.
