I may be grasping at straws here but did anyone else see a white head shaped object outside of the window down the hall everytime Evan pointed it that way. I think it was The Man of Slenders.

The bag could be 3.5.

I don't do decimals.

I'm really not into the roving FBI agent thing myself. I'm sure it made a great story, I've skimmed it. It's when he lurks around the fringes of the fandom as this Solid Snake type that I kind of roll my eyes.

Yeah, it started going downhill after the whole "running from the FBI"-thing. But had Zeke had left it at that I think it would have been a great ending. The price of survival is your own sanity, your lovers, and your freedom. So is it really worth it?

But yeah, I agree. This whole lurking this isn't that great.

The Slender Man Mythos don't work like that. The mythos cannot work like that. It is simply unfeasable for any story involving a tall, dapper man chasing after pretentious kids to end happily.

That's really quite presumptive on your part. You're not the one telling this story. They are, and they can tell it however the hell they want. A story can work any way a storyteller can think of, it just needs to be done well.

At this point, such a discussion is moot since we don't have a clue how this is going to turn out, but what does and does not make a Slender Man story is not dictated by you.

Sorry if I come off as snippy, but this kind of presumptuousness hits all the wrong buttons on me.

I'm only working with the other stories that have been released, which all seem to end up with some very depressing/ambiguous endings (MH Season One, Just Another Fool, etc.) as well as the fact that Slender Man, as an antagonist, is one of the most implacable men things in fiction, and escaping it is not an option. Eventually, it will find you and it will kill you.

Sorry if I come off as presumptuous, but I don't see how a happy ending could really work with a Slender Man series.

It's a testament to how well done the story is that I've come to care about the guys so much, but yes, I do think that unless some stunning new angle is invented that I can't presently imagine, a Slender Man series has to end in death and madness. That's what I knew I signed up for. That is the lure of a lot of this stuff. The spiraling sense of doom against something alien and unstoppable. That's what hooks me.

I suppose there could potentially be a way to end EMH without them destroyed that could still be dramatically satisfying, but I personally can't think of one. So instead I hope it's just a really long series.

I just have to say -- fuck you guys. Haha.
Not really; I love you all.

But I was trying to play Alan Wake (first time, thanks to the boys for getting me interested) when I got the Twitter update. Wondering wtf was going on, I checked the forum on my phone, and DAMN. Every time I got through one page, another popped up. And then the video... and I couldn't get IE to work ('cause my dad's computer is ghetto & old & doesn't have Firefox)... and I was shaking in anticipation.

But I fixed it. And HOLY FUCKING CRAP that video was so worth it. Very Happy I anticipate a major brain-melt in the next few days. We may have to endure HABIT's taunting & eliminations first, though... *sigh*
I just wish this monitor wasn't dying on me. It's so dark I can hardly make out anything with the distortion.

Only if they come hide out with me, I have bunker, and snacks, and rope...

What... I'm not plotting on kidnapping them and holding them for ransom.

And risk ruining their originality a fan's life by obstructing justice?

I can't get over how much they've backed themselves into a corner of a very small hallway.

I think they'd contact Green Feathers.
