You know I read that original comment in class before seeing the video and almost started laughing. And then i thought it was really in the video until I got home. I was a bit disappointed.

I choose to believe that it did happen, albeit offscreen, and no amount of denial from Vince or Damsel will persuade me otherwise.

 		So, this has been the first video in a long while that actually has distortion... maybe the reason why we haven't had any Slendy sightings is because he was busy watching Damsel, or waiting for her to get out? And if they have been Slendy-less, but are going to get him back now, I wonder how HABIT* and Rakey will react to Slendy finally being more involved with the Hybrids again.

Also, I don't think anyone's brought it up on the thread, but: 0:45, in the window. Slendy.

(Also also, I took the weekend off from the EMH thread. Back now. I missed you guys, it was strange o.O)

i'm inclined to say HABBY.

also, someone mentioned how the black bits are like what the boys would have seen in ryan and the seven trials of habit. this disturbs me and i hope that interpretation is wrong, because if it's right, we have just lost a major advantage.

as for the distortion, i like the idea that slendy was watching our dear damsel. perhaps he got bored after the whole hit-and-run thing and decided to go check in on her. (maybe he's responsible for her release date?)

 		I need to write a 6-page paper for tomorrow but I can't stop lurking here and on SA to talk about Slenderman. This video was fantastic. I wonder where they're going to go from here.

Someone else mentioned this in the YT comments, I think. I didn't see anything, though.

Damsel has claimed to have a rather strong connection with Slenders, he's supposedly been haunting her since she was a small child, he killed her family, forced her to come north... so maybe he was lurking around. Which... if he was making appearances in the hospital? Creeeeeepy. Being in a hospital room, no contact with the outside world, everyone in the hospital thinks you're crazy, and Slenderman is haunting you? ::shudders::

Again, curse my lack of ustream viewing, but did the guys ever say if they saw any weird cuts or jumps or blackouts? If not, then we're just guessing that there's missing footage.

The blackouts actually reminded me of the abrupt cuts in "Alex," to be honest. So maybe everyone was out in full force that night: Slendy, the Rake, HABIT (assuming he's sharing brainspace with Evan)...

I have a really hard time comparing MH and EMH. It's like someone asking how your favorite movie stacks up against your favorite TV show. You can kind of do a comparison, but they're very different storytelling modes. MH is a movie (or, well, 2 movies now, I suppose, since season 2 has started), while EMH is a TV show. Movies tell a very tight story, and MH has incredible atmosphere and tension, but TV shows can get so much more sprawling and develop the characters much more deeply than a movie can.

And I like Damsel's blog! Very Happy I wonder what she's going to think about the message in the background...


I quite like that analogy Razz Makes a lot of sense.

See, I don't really mind her blog. It's just that on top of their YouTube, their Twitter, Alex's YouTube and Twitter(?), HABIT's SevenTrials Twitter, the phantom tweets on the EMH twitter that get deleted, and the boxes/letters... a blog could just push it over the edge into being ridiculous Razz

Where did Vinnie come from? Last we knew he'd been raked? Why was Damsel in a hospital? Did I miss something on Twitter or something? I've been checking it every time my phone says I have new tweets.

Vinnie's phone was found inside Alex's closet, but nothing happened to him - he showed up in the videos after that, and in the ustream he said that he must have just left his phone at Jeff's house. Damsel's been in the hospital for a while now, because she "failed" a psychological evaluation given to her by the police after Jeff turned her in as being the last person to see Jessa before her disappearance.

 		It stretches my suspense of disbelief that the guys would film themselves breaking someone out of a secure facility, and assaulting a security guard, and then put it on the internet.








But I don't care, because this video filled my entire day with awesome.
