I'm more curious as to why the security guard wouldn't have recognised Jeff.

If the guard mostly works the night shift and Jeff works during the day (he mentioned having to get to work at 8 once), they might not see each other. Jeff did have his hood pulled up when he was being Batman, so the guard might not have gotten a good look at his face during the tackle. It was pretty well-lit in the car, though, so... who knows?

We still don't know what happened to the guard. Anyone tweeted at them about it?

Yep, he does. We've seen him wear that jacket before, though, so it might not mean that whatever happened in "...." happened during this video.

Ya, but Vince was also wearing the same clothes. Plus that building looks really similar.

Well to be fair he would have seen in the car if not the bat-tackle. Also he most likely would have gotten the plates on the car Razz

Maybe the guard got a nice look at Evans knife to buy his silence.

I'll mention it again because I don't think it's a coincidence and I do think little things like this should be noticed and discussed:

The 6:00 pm at the beginning of this video is in the same typewriter-esque font as the text in " . . . . " and the Ashen Waste postcard. Both of which are heavily associated with HABIT.

And a new thought: I know there was some speculation recently that the Corenthal letters are connected to HABIT as well... being sent from him or transcribed or whathaveyou. This could be another connection between typewriter "font" and HABIT.

Which raises the question why would the GUYS use this font in the "Damsel" video? I doubt they would just coincidently use the same font that HABIT has been known to use. Or maybe they didn't put that timestamp there? Have they ever used a timestamp like this before? I don't recall. Is it in reference to something? Mission Impossible?

I also think we should be discussing the point Mattwan (I think) brought up about the black outs in these videos. Because they seem to be incongruent lengths. Some longer and some shorter. I really like the idea that maybe these are scenes we're not meant to see, ie what the videos like R&tSTOH must look like to the guys when THEY watch them. I had a thought that maybe those blackouts correspond to clips from the morse videos in length. Perhaps we have to piece them together. That might be a bit of a long shot but it's just a thought I had.

Damsel's in completely different clothes, though. I'll have to watch both of them when I get home. (Oh darn. Wink )

I just watched both of them. There isn't a good shot of Damsel at all throughout the entire Damsel video, so I can't tell if she's wearing the same thing. I don't think that the .... and Damsel videos match up, if only because Evan was the camera guy for all the cut out parts and we see Evan in the .... video, plus there are only two shots in the .... video and I think 3 cut outs in Damsel. And they really don't seem to match up in terms of what was happening

But now I wonder if that means that Evan gets institutionalized at some point.

Also agreed about the weird time stamp in the Damsel vid. That threw me for a loop too.

EDIT: oh ya, Damsel's clothes are different.

In "Damsel," she's very clearly wearing a long-sleeve gray t-shirt with some kind of colorful pattern on it, as opposed to the purple shirt she's wearing in "....". She also lacks the pink hat. Additionally, during the two shots that appear to take place in the "psych ward" setting of "....," Vince is nowhere to be seen. It's just Damsel (in different clothes), and Evan (in a coat we've seen him wear previously).

The timestamp and font are unusual, and worth following up on with the guys.

I'm still not entirely sold on the idea that there's footage in this video that's hidden from us. The blackouts are, like I said earlier, very similar to what we see in "Alex," when the Rake is around. I think people are going "omg there's footage hidden from us" because the guys are receptive to the idea of hidden videos/footage now. If we've been missing footage, then it's been happening for longer than just "Damsel."

Heh. How hilarious would it be if the guys were like "HOLY CRAP LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENS IN 'ALEX'!!!" and we're all "wha?".

Well its in the video for the same reason there's alot of things in their videos that they didn't put there. I doubt its a reference to anything really.

Its most likely just another habit/slendy relic that appears in alot of their videos which the crew wont be able to see.

So its more a case of discussing the significance of 6:00 rather than its source.

Also

In the video "...." there is a fragment of video with damsel in it at around 0.33-0.35 which seems to be after the escape this evening.

That's precisely what I'm getting at: the guys didn't put it there, so WHY is it there? What purpose does it serve?

I'm not sure if that scene at 33s in ". . . ." is Damsel. I think it might be Jessie? Plus it looks like that was shot at dusk and it's pretty dark in "Damsel". Which makes sense if it was really shot at 6pm because it gets dark around 5 on the east coast right now.

Oh sweet shit- what if they are finaly able to see the hidden videos/ footage and suddenly we are not? I... I might have to die of stress.
Also, just scared the crap out of myself. I forgot "Who Can Win A Rabbit" was loading (my compute is slow) and it started playing without me expecting it.
Changing my pants, brb.

So this may seem random, but anyone else read/follow Seeking Truth?

Cause the latest post has an uncomfortable EMH reference
