I think where vince and jeff are coming from are that they were mega fans like us.... until shit got real. they can't believe all the stuff they thought was entertainment was real and it hasnt sunk in yet.

I mean, you got Jeff being the lone adventurer, and you got Evan being the hero/possible Slender proxy, and then you've got Vince, who's still pretty clueless and just tags along. He's the middle man.

And for me at least, in movies and stuff, I always root for the middle man, simply because he's just there.

Eh, I tend to dislike the clueless ones. They always come across as the poor sap that gets killed/goes insane because they continued to be clueless and/or refuse to see what's right in front of them.

It's a bit concerning that Vince seems to be not sleeping though.

Also, who the crap is Lenny? Lenna? That L person who left the note. From the poetry it sounds kind of like Damsel's handywork. But if that's the case, then I'm suddenly very, VERY terrified for the Hybrid crew.

I, too, couldn't make out a lot of the note, but the "black eyes" bit did jump out. Now, if I were describing Slendy, I don't think I'd be referring to his black eyes, his cherry-red lips, or his aquiline nose. Clearly, then, the letter is a red herring, something left by a completely unrelated group of people being stalked by the Jersey Devil.

Seriously, though, where does the bit about eyes come from? In the EH universe, does Slendy only appear faceless on video but more normal in person? That doesn't seem right, since they guys thought somebody had been wearing a Slenderman costume in one of the earlier videos. Any other theories?

The bits of the note I could make out reminded me of Damsel too. Maybe she's playing for both sides? Or maybe she's being "ridden" by whatever it is that causes Maskiness--she did just mention that she got rid of all her medicine. Or possibly she fled sometime between her most recent post and Saturday morning, and left the note as a (typically oblique) going-away letter? Maybe it's time to break out the #wheresdamsel tag.

And I have a stupid question: for the Slendy appearance/distortion around 3:35, what is the camera supposed to be recording? Is the image supposed to be upside-down, or is flipping the image part of the Slenderference?

Also, I am amazed by how quickly Jeff's hair grows.

Throughout that whole video I had both hands on my earbuds, waiting to pull them out at even a hint of distortion.

The acting felt a bit off to me, but other than that I thought this was pretty good. The Slender sighting freaked me out. I liked Evan pulling a switch on us and turning out to be the voice of reason, although what were all the knives and laughter and smirks for (Jeff's smirk was not as well done as Evan's)? I'm really just waiting for Damsel to do something.

Going back over the original Slender Man postings on Unfiction and i was struck by something posted by Leechcode5 on 12 June

How old is Jeff? Could this be his school? The photo shows what may be our skinny friend on top of the roof.

Possibly related, or at least shows that Slender Man has form for burning down elementary schools!
