Either 1) reality itself was Slender-raped, or 2) Slendy is messing with the hospital staff's memories and perceptions to cover for the crew.

I think #2 is more likely right now-- we know Slendy can mess with people's minds/perceptions. Although, thanks to 78of76.avi, we can't rule out #1 entirely. GAH.

I wonder if Glenn was the guard that Jeff tackled... it'd make sense. He dies in a mysterious fire, along with some poor maintenance worker, removing the witnesses... Everyone else remembers Damsel being released earlier in the week...

I don't know how I feel about it, but the Slenderman - Corenthal theory keeps getting a little more plausible. Weirdly enough.

Could also be a combo of reality-tripping and memory manipulation. We know that Damsel was rescued at 6 PM, but the hospital staff experienced a pocket-dimension/alternate reality that was streamlined into the main timeline of our universe at the appropriate juncture.

I think its a given that poor Glenn was the one who died. Sad

And what theory is that?

I like the part that I bolded up there. Seems like a plausible theory.

Few pages back, someone mentioned the ideal that Doc Corenthal = Slenderman. Assuming that the non-caps phantom tweeter is Slendy, it... makes a really twisted sort of sense? It doesn't account for everything, and there are some holes in it, but... I don't know. Slender's behavior of late has been strange.

He refers to them as "my children," and his behavior associated with the breakout is downright protective... I don't know. Every single update makes this whole damn thing more and more mind-screwy.

I think that STATIC is what other transcribers have transcripted as REDACTED, which I think fits better. I think Jeff was just saying the late Housekeeper John was moving Damsel back into her room.

Which doesn't make sense, because the nursing staff was saying she'd been released earlier in the week... Maybe it was the name of another patient? ::shrugs, grabs at straws, brain melts out ears, etc::

Wait, so, what you're saying here is that when Jeff tackles people so hard, they catch on fire before they're tackled? I support this theory *Nodnod*

With the theory that Slendy is toying with them, I'm wondering if at various times, they should have died already but he's shifting them and replacing them with people he couldn't give an airbourne act of copulation about.

Maybe that's just some of the stitching showing from where Slendy put spacetime back together after ripping it apart.

You've cracked it! It wasn't Slendy manipulating spacetime at all. The force of Jeff's tackle was so great that it shattered the time barrier!

Ah, that explains the 1970's letters, too... At some point later in the series, Jeff is going to tackle-hug Damsel, Evan, and Vince so hard that all four of them go flying back into the past, and the trauma of the experience drives them all a little bit insane (and also de-ages them for some reason).

There we go! Mystery solved.

That's why Evan goes nuts and becomes Habit! There's no X-box in 1970~

A. Slendy takes good care of his toys, until he's ready to break them.

B. In one of the tweets, assuming the mixed-case ninja tweeter is him, he refers to the boys as "my children". Maybe he really does feel protective of them for some reason and all the parent-killing and Evan-bloodying and Jessa-napping is his version of tough love.

Wait... Vince, Evan and Jeff are "his children"... is Slendy Corenthal?
The scary thing is, that actually makes sense. What if the reason that he is fighting against HABIT is because HABIT wants to hurt his children?

Of course, this doesn't account for the fact that Corenthal seemed to go insane later in life, which doesn't fit Slim Jim's apparent personality in the least.

While I like this theory, I want to hit both sides of it:

First, in favor: the madness could have been part of the "slenderization" process; Slim Jim was becoming the Slenderman.

Second, against: There was already "The Man" protecting Baby Vince before Corenthal was involved in their lives at all.

Hm. I went on a creepypasta binge a couple of months ago, and one of the stories that struck me was about a baby that everybody adored and became completely obsessed with, stealing it away from and murdering whoever was currently taking care of it. I can't dig it up now, but there is a creepypasta precedent for children that make people want to be their parents.

Not saying this is what they're going for, but it could explain how both Corenthal and Slendy see the boys as their children.

Right, it's that second part that's one of the biggest plot holes.

Although... we've been assuming this whole time that "The Man" refers to Slendy, and I still think that's probably true, but... isn't there some creepypasta about a Smiling Man who eviscerated a child abuser? I'm at work, so I can't look it up, but... maybe 'the man' could have been that? ::shrugs::

Yeah and that would explain why Jeff's and Alex's parents died(hopefully in-game)
And Sm want Damsel wanted her to meat up with the boys and the only way to do that was to kill her family, because she wouldn't have left without that.
BTW my confirmation code is "Rakes Clatia"lol
