Also, in my humble opinion, the Slender Man in Episode 5, at about 2:03 is a fake one. Bending down like that just doesn't seem like the kind of thing Slendy would do.

In marble Hornets, in one of the early entries (entry one or four, maybe) he was bending down, peering at Alex through the window.

That was more of a 'tilting sideways' kind of thing, as opposed to the 'dramatic gerbal' thing he pulls in EMH.

I agree with Acora, his falling was way too dramatic. Slendy usually creeps in slowly.

I agree that window Slendy was fake. There's that creepy shadow lurking in the background of the basement for a while and then it just walks away. And only Evan seems to notice and have a reaction to.

Dramatic Gerbil? XD

But yeah, I agree that Window Slendy was fake. That shadow was just... creepy and odd. Just like Slender Man!

Dramatic prairie dog, then.

Also, by 'Window Slendy', which one are you referring to?

The one in the window in episode 5.

That was the episode we were referring to, correct? I didn't just get things confused?

No, that was the episode I was referring to, but I thought that was just an open doorway at the top of the stairs.

The transcript on the wiki says it's a window, so that's what I went with.

No, he walks past a basement window behind Vinnie, then dramatic prairie dogs in the window, then the lights go out.

Well, it's quite possible that I'm wrong. It's been known to happen before.

Thanks.

I think the Slendy at the window in that is probably fake too.

I'm still trying to go back and discern what is fake and what isn't, although I don't think it'll come to much.

At the last usstream, Evan said the only thing they faked was the suit and the doll. The question was specifically referencing Evan getting the Slender Cough, but I'm going on the assumption that they did not fake the static.

So, the question is for Video 4, if it's Fake Slendy at 1:11, is it real at 1:15?
But the weird thing is, at 1:11, he's much taller then Evan, and there's no audio distortion. But at 1:15, he's about Evan's height, but there is audio distortion. Maybe the boys just forgot about the audio distortion, because I don't think they would miss him if he was that close.

Well, INREALLIFE, I'm pretty sure they've got a gigantic Slender dummy. I mean, look how huge he is in Ashen Waste.

I'm pretty sure EMH Slendy has the same quality as other Slendys in that he can be seen when he wants to be seen...and he can be invisible to the naked eye when he wants to be, so I wouldn't be suprised if they were practically "rubbing elbows" with Slendy and not even knowing it.

Yeah, Basement Window Slendy is totally fake. But lurking-in-the-shadows Slendy is probably real.

edit: It's worse than dramatic rodents. I'd call the headsnap in MH a dramatic rodent. The basement window thing is comical at it's best. You see him walk by...and then he literally pounces towards the window. It's like out of a horrible haunted house.

Whoa the whole Evan waking up at the same time they find those images is actually a really good observation. Cos when Evan wakes up, he then goes downstairs to hang out with the boys and that's when he's found looking up the Can You See The Words blog on the computer. So I'm guessing that means it was involved in his dreams somehow? Or he woke up with those words in his head at least.
