Seems likely Lenny is whoever left the first 2 boxes and the weird notes with the cross early on. In the note he says the guys have not heeded his warnings. There's also at least some chance Lenny = Damsel since to my knowledge we don't have her name.

Trouble is she went poof AFTER that happened.

Wrong - they noticed afterwards that she wouldn't answer the phone.

Which equals to "Jeff saw her last before he took off to the woods with the guys". Crying or Very sad

Trouble is, Slendy doesn't put you in bags, he's the other way around. He'll kill you, and put the bag inside you. Or so the lore goes.

True, but allowances have to be made for the guys' pocket-change production budget. Unseen parts in opaque bags seems reasonably evocative of the lore's turducken approach.

@Megarain

I don't have the cite for this, but it's been my impression that Slendy has two distinct methods of mutilation:

1. You disappear and later are found dead, gutted and with your organs removed and haphazardly returned in the wrong place. I don't remember bags being mentioned.

2. You disappear and later are found dead, impaled on a tree with your various organs in bags at the bottom of the tree.

If memory serves, in some stories he can turn you into mist and, of course, there's fire. I could be wrong, but given Slendy's memetic status, it is not unlikely that the EMH crew could be wrong in the same manner as I am.

For what it's worth, I doubt Jessa is dead. For logistic reasons, if anything. If you are doing a guerrilla movie production like this one, you'll be hard pressed for reliable actors. Basically, you are reduced to friends and family, which means that you'd be less likely to kill of a promising character and, thus, deprive yourself of a potential actor.

I still don't think that was here. More a warning.
@Veljko: You're almost spot on. When he throws you in the tree, he puts plastic bags and scrap in the shape of the removed organs in the correct place.

Plus, wouldn't they have looked up?

Actually, I wouldn't have looked up. Even knowing the whole mythos, looking up never would have occurred to me. Not sure they would have liked what they saw....

Correct me if I am wrong, its been a while, the dead animals are never in the bags, just found around your house, right? The bags are reserved for human organs?

Also, where was the one where he replaced your organs with bags and junk shaped like them? I don;t remember reading that and I really want to. Very Happy

And I was watching the latest video, Reunion. The part where the camera is upside down, and that is actually what is happening, you can see them flip it rightside up. Someone had asked why they did this when they never seemed to do it before. My guess is that they started to take the MH approach and start taping all of the time, just in case. Also, it may have been a bit rushed and unedited as a result of that.

I dont' remember where I read that, I haven't gotten in the habbit of bookmarking everything yet.

Wait, they had two cameras! WOOT! They followed my advice of having more than one recording device!

Wait... so... Marble Hornets en masse has been archived? Can we pull this forum back out as an active, separate game?

Why was the forum archived? Marble Hornets is on hiatus, but there's several currently running ARGs in the same universe (kinda). Where do those go?

I would think it'd be interesting if there was a general Slender Man or Creepy Pasta ARG forum set up within which EMH, MH, etc. could be discussed. I didn't even notice that the forum had been archived until you guys brought it up! At least they kept the same URL for us.
