I hope she gets actively involved in the story soon. Watching her post crazy music videos and random stuff about water was cute for a while but it's gotten beyond stale for me. Seeing 12 new posts and knowing before I even read them that none will advance the story at all? Neutral

I did a quick skimming and I saw forests pop up quite a few times and fire 20 something times, so could it be related? I will read what is available later, I have to get some sleep. From what I did read, I didn''t get any locations. Or none that would be anywhere by the guys.

Just pointing out something I noticed, at the top of the page you linked to also says something about a pyromaniac. Sound familiar?

Wait, you mean the old burnt out place with the orphans, right? Fairmount Children's Home? Shame on me, I had forgotten about that one. Embarassed It makes a lot more sense than all other theories.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
About the whole "getting arrested" business, well, IG, Jeff has already shown he doesn't mind punching a security guard every once in a while, and OOG, they might have already got some kind of permission for filming there some time ago, and that's why they desperately wanted us to guess...

I really doubt they got "permission" to film at an old, broken down building. If you've watched the interview with the Marble Hornets crew, they got in trouble with the law once and had to duck the cops plenty of times - cops really fuckin' hate urban explorers. :p

It's not hard to say you're somewhere else when you're really just filming in your town. Wink

Or maybe it'll be up to the HYBRIDS in Ohio to tackle this mystery?

How would they get the clues to Ohio though? Awesome idea, just doesn't seem like it'd be any more feasible than them going there themselves.

Yeah, I had to sit back and think about that for a sec, but it's definitely possible. I accompanied my friend on a scavenger hunt around our town this summer that was set up by his friend from all the way across the country via accomplices living in our town, if that makes sense.

Edit: Ha ha, the forum was totally moved while I was posting this.

Aw shit, we finally have a Slender Man Mythos section! I very much approve, mods! (:

And yeah, it would be possible if they got some fans from Ohio to volunteer. It might ruin the immersion for the people involved though... but still, I very much agree that it would be very awesome if they made this thing span multiple states.

Still, I don't think it's possible. I mean, look at Google maps: the property is still very much "used" - at least the surroundings are.
I don't know. I think they'll give us a straight "confirmation" if that's what they're looking for.

I agree - if there's something that needs to be found, the EMH guys will probably at least hint that we need to go find it.

Doesn't necessarily have to be done by the fans, but maybe by friends of theirs going to school there. Wink

But yeah, just throwing it out there, I'm not willing to make that leap myself yet without more information.

Well, Ohio is still closer than Alabama, which is where the Damsel theory was leading us. Or England and Germany, which is where the Waste Land theory was leading us. (Unless Damsel used to live in NJ with her parents, moved to Alabama after their death, and came back to NJ for college! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy ... Shocked God, I need to go to sleep for real).

They've already shown they have lots of friends who just happen to be willing to go hiking, or Slendy hunting, with them. And sometimes they're even relatives of plot points! It's not too much of a stretch to imagine, say, a cousin Jimmy in Ohio.

There's the forest fire theory for NJ still, but it seems like forests in NJ do nothing but catch fire. Confused
