I'm backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

The series is going in a great direction, especially with the edition of The Rake(who maybe HABIT, I won't rule that out yet).

I'm I the only who thinks that The Rake is only going after Alex and Slendy after the rest of the crew?

Also the name of that burned down high school behind the dead body might be the Land of Ashen Waste?

Well, Ohio is still closer than Alabama, which is where the Damsel theory was leading us. Or England and Germany, which is where the Waste Land theory was leading us. (Unless Damsel used to live in NJ with her parents, moved to Alabama after their death, and came back to NJ for college! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy ... Shocked God, I need to go to sleep for real).

They've already shown they have lots of friends who just happen to be willing to go hiking, or Slendy hunting, with them. And sometimes they're even relatives of plot points! It's not too much of a stretch to imagine, say, a cousin Jimmy in Ohio.

There's the forest fire theory for NJ still, but it seems like forests in NJ do nothing but catch fire. Confused

That is a lot of fire for one stretch of state.

I tweeted them to see where it was going-- I'm actually on the Ohio border, though it's a bit of a long shot and I can't imagine it'd end up on those lines.

Argh why did no one tell me there were more Slendy ARGs?! Man, I followed Marble Hornets from start to finish... I really want to get in on this Everyman, but I mean... 152 pages on unforum already? I'm way too far behind.

Lambertville High School was where they found the body. No idea why there was Lambertville written behind the body, but they mention Lambertville in the car and the outside of the building when they arrive looks like Lambertville's pics. I posted somewhere in this thread with links to a site, I'm lazy and need to sleep so I won't look for it Razz EDIT: this was @Phenom, I accidentally pagetopped.

And yeah, I agree that this is going into a great direction IF ONLY WE KNEW WHICH ONE. Currently the majority is voting Ohio, right? But maybe we haven't dug enough into that link Mattwan posted.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I don't know how it is in America, but over here you can def get permission to film a movie in a location even if it's sort of dangerous, as long as you sign a paper that says you don't mind dying for art. Dario Argento filmed a good chunk of Deep Red into this abandoned villa which was an actual abandoned villa, half in ruin (it has been restored now). If they pass this as some art school project, they might let them do it. Unrelated, but the idea of Romero redoing Deep Red in 3D scares me more than Slendy. WHY, OH GOD, WHY?

Now, I'm only on video three, but one thing a lot of people considered with Marble Hornets from day one was that Jay was an unreliable narrator. Now, his method of narration was through video editing and uploading.

So, this time around, I'll be pointing my finger at Jeff, the editor. How do you simply let clips slip by you, Jeff?

I wouldn't bother commenting on that if you're not past video 6 yet. Rolling Eyes

Yeah. I think I'm going to open up a word document and write down all my thoughts in it as I watch the videos. Who knows, I might post it up when relevant. Or not.

Thank you for the words of inspiration. It's what I do, unfortunately, and will be less time-consuming than reading the entire thread AND watching the videos. So, shake on.

I don't see any reason to discourage him from writing down his thoughts in a Word document... it's not like he said he was going to post them as he goes. He could amend them as he gets further into the story and post them after he watches the newest video - any input is always valuable, even if it is trout. You really shouldn't be so negative towards new fans of the series. (:
