Speaking of Vince, I'm quite bothered by the fact that we have not heard anything from him. We finally got some Evan not too long ago, and Jeff is always around. I request that Vince be rightfully restored as the focus of the camera.

Jeff's behaviour does make sense. It comes off as kind of a dick to us because we believe the Slenderman theory and because we've been following Damsel's blog for a while and we know her. Remember that Evan believes Damsel because he believes the Slenderman too - if it does turn out it's all some sort of elaborated hoax or something, then Jeff is the one who's doing the right thing. Which is something almost nobody ever does in horror stories so yay for trope subversion.

Basically, if you believe the Slenderman, you believe Damsel and vice versa. Jeff is in denial. Again, it's understandable: there's no known way to defend yourself from lovercraftian reality-bending horrors from beyond this world, but if it's just a dude in a costume with a knack for video editing, well, no matter how strong he is, you can always sneak behind him, whack him in the head and save your girlfriend.

Which makes me wonder if maybe we aren't doing them a disservice by yelling SLENDERMANSLENDERMANSLENDERMAN. I mean, like somebody else (I'm sorry, can't remember your name) pointed out, the only one who has not been somehow affected by Slendy is Vin, who has always been firm in his denial. Well, Alex was firm in his denial too, but he's Jeff's brother, and it looks like Jeff is the main victim.

Damsel herself said something to the effect of "the more we talk about him, the worse". Going off the theory that it's not them not seeing what they're supposed to see, it's us seeing things that aren't there, then, if the Slenderman really works by awareness of the reality of his existence, it's us, the already infected, who are killing the crew by forcing them to admit his reality.

And at this point my theory gets awfully meta and with parallel universes so I'm stopping here.

I absolutley love that theory, nevnaan. Mainly because it would turn the "normal" Slender - situation around. It's not us "helping" and maybe "saving" the protagonists by mentioning SM, but it's us pushing the shit to the fan. That would be great!

Just one tiny bit: the only person where we are SURE that he has been haunted by the Slendster is Evan. In Sleeping Lab#2, where he's dreaming, there's distortion at one point, and he has a terrible nightmare which he mentions afterwards.

Both actually, it pretty much stayed the same between the movies.

I doubt it would be on the weekend. Not sure how school goes for them, but I do all of my makeup portfolio on the weekend when I have off and I end up being done, after editing and etc, around Wednesday. So my guess it would be easier for them to post during the week.
