Thanks Didz, I was just thinking that I didn't have any irrational fears to keep me up at night.
Now I have to contend with the idea of an unspeakable eldritch horror crawling out from somewhere in my room while I'm asleep.

You should try sleeping in the same room as my daughter. As adorable as she is to look at, she has a tendancy to stand up in her cot in the middle of the night and growl at me and her dad. By growl I don't mean something you'd expect from a sweet little 14 month old....I mean a full on deep, guttural zombie growl. It's terrifying after watching Slendy and the Rake........
For some reason I just thought of Pinky and the Brain.

Jumpin' Jimmy. I'm never sleeping again.

Okay, you definitely win in the creepy stuff that happens in your house stakes.
I mean, that's seriously scary.

Neh, she just watches her dad play left 4 dead etc. She laughs her head off every time he gets a head shot. She is an odd child. Has no fear whatsoever. As for the other creepy stuff, when we finally get round to swapping rooms with her I'll be sleeping with a camera on just in case I catch whatever it was that was upsetting her. Weirdest/creepiest thing that's happened is hearing a male voice say "it's ok" to her when she whined in her sleep. It's not been too bad recently though. Just the slendy shaped shadow on my bedroom wall that I'm not shitting brix about thanks to my better half lol.

EDIT: I'll try to get a video of my little "angel" growling at us during the day. It's usually when someone does something she doesn't like, such as telling her "no" lol.

"What are we gonna do tonight, Slendy?"

"The same thing we do every night, Rake. Try to PISS OFF EVAN."

It's Slendy and the Rake
It's Slendy and the Rake
One is a Tulpa
The other's the Rake
They try to stalk Evan
To scare him half to Heaven
They're bendy
They're Slendy and the Rake, Rake, Rake, Rake, RAKE
*Dundundundundundun DUN DUN DUN DUN!*

I think that deserves a "funniest post in the thread" award of some kind. Mr. Green

You genius! lol. Someone needs to make an audio recording of that. I even read slendys speech in brains voice. I'll never think of him as a silent being again lol.

So, Didz, was your house built on top of some ancient burial ground? Wink

And it's interesting that Alex says he doesn't see anything in his tapes. Maybe he's blind to the weird stuff, like the guys being unable to see the time slips (or whatever) at the door to Jeff's house? It might be worth it to try talking him into a two-minute clip of when Sparky seems to be at his worst.

Or it may just be that they're having a hard time getting the Rake costume to look good up close.

They may be having trouble. I've told him that hopefully we'll see a video soon as her behaviour is interesting to us all etc etc.
As for my house, it's not built on an ancient burial ground....as far as I know....what I do know is that when the park across the street from me was being built, some poor bloke got killed with a forklift truck. Apart from that I've not found out much more about the area. Whenever I ask at the local library/council they seem to think I just want to break into houses lol. I must look dodgy. Can't imagine an 8 month pregnant burgler though...can you? lol.

Oh yeah, stealthy like a ninja lol. Waddling down the street, trying to hide behind a car, struggling to stand back up, sneak up the drive way, heavy my HUGE bump through someone's window, fall into the house, waddle round picking random shit up then waddle off again. Makes for a quick escape lol.

Gentleman Caller beat me to it. Smile Might be something in the water--I'm in Missouri too, LOL.

Being killed by a forklift does sound terrible. Maybe the problem isn't that they think you want to break into houses, maybe they're really getting nervous and looking for an excuse to avoid telling you The Unspeakable Truth. Bwahahaha! etc.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that might just slightly decrease your property values.

Oh, the Rake seems to be occupied at the moment. Perhaps one of his cousins, though: the Fop, or the Dandy. Perhaps even the Dapper Dan Man. Smile
