Yeah, I noticed that after looking at the guilty picture again.

I screwed with the brightness and contrast of the picture, but I don't see much other than that circle and a few faint lines. Though if I squint it kinda looks like a figure..

OHWAIT I see it now...I was looking at the wrong picture. Hoshiz.

But yeah, pretty sure thats not the guilty picture, as someone else mentioned.
And I don't know if this has been mentioned before but, could those two figures with their faces scratched out signify Jeff and Alex...? Or maybe Jessa?
(Probably trouting, there)

Maybe not the same, but under the front picture, there is a vaguely similar drawing. I'm guessing that's Jeff's one.

It's that bottommost one that creeps me out. Trees, bags hanging from on high, two figures with their heads X-ed out....

Wow! Playing around with Photoshop, I found that color burn is surprisingly effective at revealing the stuff hidden on the obscured sheets of paper:

In the bottommost picture, in addition to the hanging bags there is Mr. S. Man himself. Creepy. And if you look at the topmost picture at full magnification, you see that in addition to Slendy there appears to be a second faceless figure standing behind him. Early foreshadowing of the Rake?

EDIT: Jonny beat me by a nose, and got his picture link to work to boot. I'm leaving mine in, because I can't see the second figure clearly in his.

Good work, guys. Very clear shots there.

...so, who else thinks that the fact that any direct, recognizable depictions of Slender Man were not hidden just by coincidence?

Just my two cents, but I can't see any second figure in the topmost picture.
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Care to point me Mattwan?

EDIT: Unless you're talking about the picture bleeding through the topmost, which I took to be another picture of Slendy.

Possibly ambiguous notation: I was using "topmost" to mean "on top of the stack of papers", while it might make more sense to use "topmost" to mean "top of frame". I meant what's underneath the bedroom picture. Second figure circled:

EDIT: Just saw Jonny's edit, and we're on the same page. So to speak. It does look more Slendyish than Rakish, definitely. I just wasn't sure why there would be two Slendy's on a single sheet, or that a third sheet down would show through like that. If that's not a technical limitation, then it could well be another Slendy sketch.

Yeah, I see it now. I kinda wrote it off as scribbly drawing carrying over from the shoulders. How come seeing slendy makes you draw him like you're a three year old?
Good eye.

EMH - never failing to amaze me since 2010!

I wonder how much else they hid in all the other pictures/videos...

It's astounding, isn't it? Does anybody here know enough about digital photography to know whether it's normal for images to bleed through like that, or if the EMH crew had to either use especially thin paper or bright lighting or something to make it work?

I decided to cast a close eye over the twitpic with the burnt photos. Did anyone notice that there's one photo with a series of black arrows pointing down the path to what appears to be a black smudge?
Part of me thinks this is where the crew later encountered Slendy and the black bags of gibs.

I also notice some artifacting on the left hand side of all of the photos. Not sure if it's significant (slenderference?).

Re: Mattwan's question, I believe that high light and thin paper can do it. That appears to be low-grade student note-paper they're drawing on, which is usually thin enough for dark writing/drawing to bleed through naturally.

Good idea and good eye, Jonny. I've been looking back over "A Day in the Life", hoping to find a matching shot for some sort of clue, but no luck so far. I'm not the most observant viewer, though.

I did notice that at about 8:25 Jessa mentions "Marley & Me", which she would watch with Damsel a little over a month later. I have no idea if that's supposed to mean anything, be foreshadowing, or if it's just one of IRL Jessa's favorite movies.

And thanks for answering my questions about bleed-through. It's not necessarily the case, then, that EMH planted the hidden pictures as clues, although I guess it's still possible.

The Marley & Me ref was one of the first clear indications we had that Damsel and Jessa were entwined I think. Before that we were pretty unclear as to just how Damsel tied in, (if I am remembering correctly.)

I'm sorry, but did I miss something? Where did the drawings come from? D:

I think you are remembering correctly. Damsel says she has an unnamed new BFF on July 31, then on August 7 she posts the video of her and Jessa having just watched Marley & Me (with a surprise appearance by Evan). I just thought it interesting that Jessa had earlier mentioned that movie in the June 1 video.

I put together a rough timeline of EMH events on the wiki that I hope people will find useful. A person with the wiki username Skylarkin added in all the links today, which is just awesome.

EDIT: KamenZero, the drawings were tweeted by EMH on June 16, as part of their Sleep Study. The burned photos were tweeted on June 13.
