Come on, guys... these are from the eighth. I think we would've gotten at least a little bit of a hint if these were canon.

Okay, so I get that they're being posted to a YouTube movie competition, but the titles; "Slender man" and "Welcome to the ARK", make me think that there's something to them that's more than just that. The titles will grab the attention of anyone familiar with Marble Hornets, and there are too many references to events that have happened in game for this to be completely out of game.

EDIT: Particularly the return of the Rake. They literally say "Whoa! It's back! It's back!" when it appears. Why would they reference its return as its return, along with the heavy breathing, if this had nothing to do with in-game? Fanservice? Maybe, I guess...

It seems to be the same place that the beach is located at.

This video was posted a week ago too. So apparently this all went down then, and their back now? Or they might not even remember?

They can probably see these videos if they can see Congratulations Magus!. Someone should send/tweet them and ask if they have any idea whats going on.

One interesting tidbit, though, is that Magus said his package was postmarked the eighth (correct me if I'm wrong - I'm going by memory here). Maybe they had time to do a lot of filming that day and decided to enter a contest.

Edit: This video is awesome, if for no other reason than seeing Evan with long hair.

Alright so I have a theory.

Judging by the title "Welcome To The ARK." I believe that the boys have been taken to Slender Man's domain, The Ark, a place located outside of regular space-time. It looks just like Earth, except only people Slendy captures are here. And it rains all the time (Vin says "It's been raining for 3 days") which is where the name comes from. The fact that it's located in a room that looks like one of their basements supports this. It's outside time and space because of the next part of the theory.

Like Evan said, all of their technology won't work, except for the computer and internet. I believe, they've been posting the "Hidden" videos from here, and can place it at any time since they've started to warn they're previous selves to stay away.

I also think that, before they arrived here, they were with Dr. Corinthal, Jessie, and Jessa. (Because one of them says, "What happened to the doctor, and the girls? They were just with us.")

Like most think, it was probably The Rake that attacked them, scratching them, or it was Evan's blood rage fueled by Slendy.

Thats as much as i've gotten so far, feel free to add, or comment. And this is all IF these videos ARE IG.

Also in the one with the Rake in it they said that everyone was gone, including the doctor. I'm wondering how and when they met the doctor.

Without wanting to spoil the Corenthal theories, the guys all have serious injuries (Vinnie and Evan from their blade tussles, I assume). Not sure about Jeff though. That said, during the knife-fight in "Slender Man", evan appeared to have one large puncture mark on either side of his neck.
But anyway, injuries would require a doctor to tend to them, which I assume is what they meant by "the doctor".

all OOG I believe. It might have been the contest that originally got them going to setup the ARG. Nowhere IG have we been given real last names for the characters. Also, if you goto Jeff's personal site he lists ARGs as an interest. This is the real him, not the character. We were not meant to find these.

This does pose a question. We have been assuming that the creature is the Rake, but if its a creature contest, why not mention it, they instead mention the totheark, in the title. Is this a knew possibility?

Do we have any evidence that it is the rake, other than really wanting it to be? I know we ruled out TTA because we couldn;t see him sitting at a laptop photoshopping, but what if he produces the images etc in another way.

The videos I think are probably relevant because of the fairly recent date they were posted, but all of the other things definitely aren't related to the game.
