It's not that it's The Rake, it's that it's a good name for it untill we're given another one.

 		I don't think the facebooks are in-game. However, all the video links and youtube sites we're getting now... I think maybe they didn't really keep things as distant as they should, and maybe some of these accounts are supposed to be out of game, and they just use the same names as their characters. Which leads to madness.
That said, I do like Bracko's theory that Slender Man and Welcome to the ARK are in game. They are a bit horror-heavy to be regular videos, which may mean they're intended to be for this contest, but that doesn't mean they aren't also in game canon. Also odd they'd be posted on different accounts...

I did have one other thought, which would just be too meta: This might be the in-game creators submitting a horror video, to go along with the conceit of them making a slenderman series. Really, I don't think it's the case, but it was a thought.

 		I'd say it is the Rake. We've been given enough clues to say that. The song, its appearance, the letter response in "Reunion.". Frankly I'm tired of the skepticism.

I believe Jeff's Facebook is OOG, but these videos are probably ingame. They were posted on the 8th -- well into the ARG's run. There's no reason they would post these now as opposed to before the game began unless they were in-game. It's much too misleading otherwise.

Speaking of the 8th.
Did we all notice in "Welcome to the ARK." that it was said the sun hadn't come up in "days"?

I think our boys are frozen in time. Or at least frozen in a place that is "other" from our reality. "Injustice" was posted on the seventh.

 		I really don't think you'll get a response if they're mentioned to the guys. They're clearly OOG for the purpose of this contest. I can't see them putting that much horror into their story at this point. They've also really gone out of their way to make Slendy and Rake look decent in the vids. In the personal youtube account ones you only see a quick glimpse of "rake" and slendy just seems to be a mannequin in a suit at the top of some stairs.

Yeah, because OBVIOUSLY they should have submitted something to the contest before it even started. Rolling Eyes

These guys are ACTORS, people. Actors act. It's what they do. It's not unreasonable to assume that they don't spend every waking second working on EMH, or that they might work on other projects besides EMH. Troy Wagner from MH is a good example of this - not everything he posts on his PERSONAL YouTube account is related to Marble Hornets. I think we just got lucky enough to stumble upon some of their non-EMH stuff.

And Didz, that could be arranged... how much money we talkin'? :p

THAT depends entirely on various things:

A) clean underwear or something you could stick posters to a wall with?
B) boxers or briefs? (I want my moneys worth after all)
C) Age....as in how fermented they are.

 		I don't think it really matters if it's in game or out of game at this point, the new videos seem to be the same characters and the same story, so there's no point NOT discussing them for now even if they don't turn out to be relevant. If they're just contest entries, they're awesome and we can still talk about them in the context of what we know about the series.

tl;dr who cares if they're IG they're still cool.
