 		Edit: forgot my real content. You can upload an image by going to "Add an attachment" when you make a post, it's to the upper-left of where you type your message under Options.

I don't normally get actually bothered by Slenderman stuff, buuut... it's been dark and rainy all day and there's some sort of siren that keeps going off down the street. I am not amused Shifty Eyes

Heh. I just got back from the grocery store, and while getting out of my car I looked up at my second-story window. I swear I saw someone tall and thin moving behind the blinds.

I don't know what is wrong with y'all. I'm sure that there is a perfectly logical and non-Slendy-related reason that I refuse to look out of our patio window at night or look a the HUGE bathroom mirror when our bedroom and bathroom are dark or dimly lit.

Hey Doc, what area do you live? I live in the area below denver, and it's been dark and rainy all day here too. I live in the apartments so sirens are normal.

I think Alex might start avoiding the topic of his dog scratching him, his replies are becoming shorter.

Does anybody notice other than myself that this "Slender man" video is catergorized under "Music" and it's only tag is "ghvyg"?

It sorta seemed like something was replying...with the really quiet whispering, or at least that's what it sounded like to me.
Thought I'd bring it up, just in case.


Actually, the strange whispering was one of the first things I noticed when watching that video. You hear it at the same time the video distorts, which definitely makes me think that some presence, if not the Rake, was there.

Also, about the facebook pages you guys brought up earlier. Does anyone else want to add them as friends just for the sake of, y'know, making friends? EMH aside, they seem like pretty cool dudes and I would like to chat with them sometime.

Maybe because everyone and their brother is asking him about it? I know if I had to keep giving information on the same thing to like, five different people, I'd start giving them the abridged version.

Someone else mentioned the weird tag a while back, but that post was probably buried under the pointless bickering. =P

Has anyone made any effort to figure out that the tag means, if anything? It could just be random nonsense, but, who knows.

It's probably best to wait until after endgame to do something like that. To try it sooner runs a high possibility of pissing them off or creeping them out, I'd think.

Regarding the "we can't see 'em" response to the videos, please keep in mind that they would be unable to see the videos regardless of whether they are IG or OOG.

If they're IG, they haven't happened yet or are happening in a parallel dimension or something, so the IG Hybrids can't see them.

If they're OOG, the IRL Hybrids who made them don't exist in the same universe as the IG Hybrids, so the IG Hybrids wouldn't be able to see them.

EDIT: I ran the weird tag through all the permutations of a Caesar cipher and nothing intelligible came out. It could be an encrypted cryptogram, but I'm not willing to put in that kind of effort. Wink

Can't hurt, just don't be an asshole and constantly harass them about Everyman stuff. If they don't want the attention they'll unfriend you or deny the request the first place. I know some people ended up becoming OOG Internet friends with Troy and Joseph of Marble Hornets over Facebook, but everyone's different and they may not want Internet creeps knowing their RL details.

I understand, but it seems a little overcomplicated a way to get around it possibly being canon -- Why have two separate reasons for them to be "secret"?

I think they overcomplicated things when they decided to post the videos where and when they did. Smile

I don't see it so much as trying to get around the possibility of them being canon as it is looking at the likely consequences of the two premises. If they are IG, it follows that they can't see them for one reason, and if they're OOG it follows that they can't see them for a completely different reason. It doesn't require an act of intentionality on anyone's part; it just follows naturally from the premises.

Now, if they'd said they could see the new videos, we'd have a whole 'nother avenue of weirdness going.
