Guys, I noticed a bit of speculation on the brief conversation Jeff and Evan have in wtta. How he asks what he's watching. blah blah blah.

I don't think his watching the videos has to do with these concepts of alternate realities. I think it more so has to do with comfort. So much as happened, and it's been so long since their original intentions of a fitness series has been met. You know, watching what they started in the beginning. Especially with the way Evan talks to Jeff. He kind of converses with him like you would a depressed child, trying to comfort them and lighten the mood.

"Look at Vinnie's hair". Nostalgia of some sorts?

I don't know, just a little more speculation.

This is a major gap in time which for once they are conscious of and really can't ignore. I wonder if there's any use in someone again trying to bring up about the old videos they can't see and refuse to consider as being real. Perhaps their outlook will have shifted? It can't hurt to pass on a synopsis of said videos, such as the beach scene.

No, my bad, I just checked - I believe they know about the beach scene. The other more abstract videos, I don't think they acknowledge their existence, and previously refused to listen to any discussion of them. Now, who knows. It's worth a shot for somebody.

Samus, that is the funniest thing I've ever seen.

As for the tweets... I don't know what to think. I think what slenderman does that causes this is pretty abstract. an exact explanation a la "he reversed time by five seconds and teleported them home!" is appropriate, or would be satisfying.

I really still don't think 'welcome to the ARK' is cannon, though it could easily be an AU alternative story chunk taking place within the same universe. Assuming that, or something similar, maybe when they were driving around lost, they were... temporarily in the 'ARK', whatever that may be? and that's why they couldn't find a hospital... they seemed too dead set on getting Evan to one for there to be a mundane explanation as to why they were still driving around after dark... not to mention that none of them seem to know how long they've been driving around at that point, indicating some kind of missing time/temporal confusion.
