My doors are locked tight and I've got a gun!

Don't tell Slendy it's just an Airsoft BB gun, I'm hoping he doesn't understand that "red barrel = mostly harmless". If all else fails I'll just shoot him in the eye to... oh, crap.

The latter. Oh so definitely the latter. Sad

Again, does anyone think Jessa might have... gone mad?

I'm assuming that 'you' refers to us, the audience. 'Their' refers to our protagonists. Vinnie, Jeff and Evan are real people, and as such they can not be granted refuge from the shitstorm they're in the middle of, because such happy fairy-tale places don't exist in real life.

(Bonus points: we as audience members are on the hit list of doom: if our trio are real, then the crap befalling them is going to rollout onto us. The line dividing their story and ours, as it were, does not exist.)

If it has anything to do with our Slender Friend, I think "gone mad" would be an understatement. But given the way Jessa just *poofed* into thin air without anything except a possible sideways sighting of her by Jeff, it seems...unlikely. If she does still live, I'd say she's probably just a meat puppet in the employ of everyone's favorite creeper(s).

I took the message to mean that it isn't just their story, and there are other parties involved as well. But it could definitely also mean that we are assuming it's their "story" when in fact it is not a story at all and it's all real.

I actually like that last one better.

It must be that dyslexic bastard, Dr. Corenthal!

I mistyped a T when I first threw it up there. My fingers move too fast. I fixed it right after I posted it, though. XD

Oh wow. I got these texts in the middle of my Drama HSC exam. Two EverymanHYBRID twitters and a MH one? God, this Halloween's going to be a good one. I've even got my Slendy costume ready.

I've been noticing a little bit of theorizing as to the mysterious box sender.

I think we can safely assume that:

- If they have a monopoly on purple tape, they are the person who has been wondering if they can see the words.
- By extension, they are a character who has access to the group's house, photos, business cards...
- They appear to be sentient, and not-tentacled enough to type.
- They know about Habit.

...My money's on Jeff, to be honest. Evan's crazy, but, well, as a loyal supporter of Team Knife, I think he's using his crazy for good. Jeff's crazy and he doesn't know it yet. And his crazy involves him locking up Damsels in towers, leaving for weeks on end, muttering to himself as he walks through the ruins of his school, having Slendy follow him during his trip...

Ok, so everyone's totally freaked by the new message, but I'm going to be Mr. Party-Pooper and say this:

Do we know the "you" in the message refers to us, the audience? Impressive as this turn would be, we are already aware that multiple parties are at play in this drama. The Everymen, HABIT, Jessa, the good Doctor, Dead Girl's group, Damsel, Slendy with maybe the Rake as a separate group.

Either way, without good knowledge of WHO is sending these messages, we can't even be certain who they're intended for. And we can assume that almost all or all of these groups have internet access in some way (Slendy's a Mac user, I'm sure).

I don't think we should narrow the ideas of sender/receiver to just one yet. If the audience is getting targetted, that's pretty sweet (although it makes me nervous that the ending will come and it'll be one of those 1950 blob movies where the narrator screams "Now it's coming for you!" and the overly dramatic music plays). But if it isn't, I'm curious as to who that "you" really refers to.

Eh. The messages are being sent over twitter, where we follow them. We have always been the audience for the twitter, even when it came to that argument which got Damsel in the slammer. Secondly, the posts are going up and then immediately going down, which means only people subscribed via a phone or a very good twitter client are going to catch it; that is to say, nobody else on the EH crew is probably going to be seeing them, and that is probably the intent, given the rapidity of their deletion.

Indeed, and it's just that method of delivery that I find most odd. It's not like the secret videos, put onto Youtube without the guys knowing and left there. It's something else.

Like I said, I'm leaning towards the side of "targeted audience" but I don't think we should rule out that other possibilities exist yet.

Slender Man is malicious, as seen in "Ashen Waste". You might say "But he was just defending himself!" No. He could have vanished, or teleported them away. He chose to crush Evan's windpipe.

Crush his windpipe? I mean he was coughing up blood, but he was still able to laugh later in the video.

Did he ever actually touch Evan? I didn't see it if he did. I assumed it was a proximity thing that fucked him up.

You know, I think Evan took a swing at Slendy. And hit. And then the hit transferred to Evan's head exactly where he hit the Slender Man. At least it looked to me like he was going to go for the face amidst all the shakycam.

So that's my theory. He's got some weird space warping effect that smacks physical damage back at his attacker.

I'm definitely with you on that. Evan's unhinged, but he's aware of it, and that makes him able to put it to focus. Hell, who knows what else is going on in his head that he can use for survival or against Tall Dark and Slender?

Hence why I'm with you on Jeff being the one most likely to be hallowed, or some equivalent level of fucked over. Who knows what Slender could have done to him while he was away?

By the same token though, let's not be so quick to judge Vince as completely innocent. Who knows what's going on on his end that we don't know of? Not saying there's any validity, I'm just saying let's keep our eyes open and peeled firmly on all the fellas.
