He's part of the game. He's Jeff's brother, he's been in videos before and he has his own YouTube channel that is either a sidestory (but, in more recent activity, might just be part of the whole story-web).

Yeah... I know... It's just... he sort of cropped up out of nowhere after only 1 small cameo (He's only appeared in "Jeff," right?) and is sort of creating his own storyline out of the scraps from the main story. I'm not saying that the guys didn't welcome him in, he just feels to me sometimes like a gamejack. A gamejack that got folded into the story, but nevertheless...

like I said, maybe it's just me...

He was in "A Day in the Life," too, and I think he might have been in some other videos. I'd have to go back and check.

True, but we're approaching the point of no chance of any normalcy. I like the role he's played, but he's been a bit static. One of the things I've liked about EMH is their attention to details, characters, and plot. But besides starting to believe in Slendy, what real character development has he had? Evan and Jeff have had some (Jeff's also taken more of Vinny's leader role) and Alex seems like he's going to get more important.
That aside, I just really like Vince

One of the main reasons I wanted "Slender man" and "Welcome to the ARK" to be canon was because of the character development (Evan and Vince especially). The way I was viewing it, WttA happened after SM, and Evan didn't remember attacking Vince... but Vince was still worried about everyone else and wanted to know if they were okay, even though he was clearly shaken up.

Oh Vince ;_;

I agree on all points. WttA definitely has to happen after SM because of the flash to Evan with the knife when he touches Vince, who's quite startled.
I can logically see Vince becoming the 'worrier/mother-ish figure' (for lack of a better word) in regards to the other boys and their safety. It seems a logical step imo.
Evan= Man of Action
Jeff= Leader
Vince=?
Vince should remain the 'likeable', sympathetic one. As much as I like them, Evan and Jeff can both be a bit annoying at times. Evan with the constant axe knife-crazy hints, and Jeff with his fondness for withholding information all the time.

I've said this before, but I always root for the guy who's just there. Evan is knife-psycho, Jeff is on a quest to save his girlfriend, and Vinnie...is just there. And I enjoy that character the most, I don't know why.

This thread seems to be a roller coaster of progress and Evan is rake/habit hybrid from the past controlled by zalgo theories.

However, its seems were getting something new almost everyday this week.

I know what you're talking about, but it feels a bit less like he's being bolted on if you watch the released videos all at once. He did pop up here and there before "Jeff" and his own channel being launched, so I think there's reason to believe he was intended to be part of the game all along. I think the problem is that, with bits being dribbed and drabbed out over the course of months, he just kind of fades into the background. The fact that he looks like a slightly younger Jeff clone probably doesn't help matters either. It also doesn't help that his own videos are tonally incompatible with the main EMH stuff.

Maybe it would help to think of his stuff, up until today's probable convergence, as sort of a Rashomon homage.

And so, speaking of (once) secondary characters, what was up with the tag-along guy in "Day in the Life"? Who was he, why was he there, and what's he up to these days?

I could be wrong, but I always assumed the extra guy in DAy of the Life was Daniel. I'm not so good at facial recognition.

Side Note:

Just watching Constantine while studying, I looked up and noticed an Operator symbol on a napkin. No idea why, as I was half listening, but I got the chills, especially because a horde of Rake like creatures were creeping about. Ew.

Nah, Alex is definitely a part of the story, not gamejacking. The tone seems a lot like Episodes 1-5; it's light and fairly ignorant of anything strange. It shows how far the Everymen have progressed, I think, seeing how Jeff reacts to Alex's prank.

Add him to this list: Tag Along Guy, Daniel, Nick, Jessie...

I know this is going back a few pages, but I had a few questions about the Boxes.

The Box 3 coordinates came from the Linnie note right? And we've now realized that at least some of the box items (the pictures and the fact that the Corenthal documents could've been potentially stolen from Jeff) belonged to the Hybrids.

Whoever the body is, they were trying to find them (the Hybrids), so presumably she wouldn't be able to get a hold of the items in the box. So if she didn't hide the box, and write down the coordinates than who did? The person/thing that killed her? Linnie? It'd have to be someone connected with the Hybrids. Can we tell from the video if the letter handwriting is different from the coordinates?

Edit: My boyfriend suggested that maybe she was headed for the box herself.
