Regarding the Powerade bottle, it's probably an implication that Linnie was traveling and lost her bag. Or in this case, someone took it then planted it for someone to find.

So a lot of talk about Vinnie. But, what about the fact that it all seems to be for Linnie? The person from the note they found at the burned out building?

Also, as far as I could tell, the letter in cursive read as follows:
Quote:
"Linnie,
I hope this letter reaches you before you reach that group. Someone sent me this letter. This worries me. Please contact me before you talk to them.
The letter's attached.
-William"

So, obviously Linnie was looking for the EMH boys. Who's William?

Two boxes, and then a faux-book and a draw-string bag. X_x Looks like the wiki articles need to be renamed "The Caches".

Edit: And is this the first to be missing a page labelled "x/7"? I do believe it is, unless it's there and I just missed it...

No, the person who found it said they don't think it's a "proper" box for this very reason - there aren't any pictures either, I think.

Also I'm having a huge WTF moment with the Powerade bottle - cleverest product placement ever? Mistake? Clue?

Well, wiki has been edited. Instead of Box #4, it is now labelled The Bag. Sort of jumped the gun there. ^^

My take on it: It had a trail leading to a drawstring sports bag. The envelope looked bloody if I'm not mistaken. It looks like someone was interrupted by something either on a hike, or on their way to find somone or something.
By the paw prints on the bag, the state of the envelope, the letter, and the fact the coordinates were given in an Alex video, I'd say it was the Rake again.[/i]

Well, assuming this was Linnie's bag- if she was hitchhiking, she'd need something to drink, wouldn't she?

...oh. But then, who left the bag there + the coordinates in Alex's room?

Wait. Don't answer. Sad

From the Rake creepypasta:
Quote:
Found in the same wooden box were two empty envelopes addressed to William and Rose, and one loose personal letter with no envelope.

'Dearest Linnie,
I have prayed for you. He spoke your name.'

So, one of Linnie's friends. Ironically, it's also the name of the main character of The Hazards of Love, the album The Rake's Song is from.
EDIT: I've got it. Linnie, Rose and William are the three kids in The Rake's Song- two girls and a boy. Perfect. And more credit for the Time Travel theory- that part is dated 1964. If they were still minors, they could have gone to the future and then aged a little to now.

Letters and such

Okay, this is where we found the bag. We looked around the area nearby, but we didn't find anything else other than the duct tape arrows.

And here are the letters.

Also, here's a close up of the Powerade bottle. Not sure if it matters, but there's a mark on the side.

I'd say the Vincent in the letter is definitely our Vince. Only he could ignore a murder happening in the next room and play with a toy like nothing's wrong. Rolling Eyes

Time travel? In my Slender-series? It's more likely than you think...

Yay pictures!

Surprised

Can we just stop for a second and... recognize how awesome these guys are?

Tying a Decemberists song with the Rake story and the SM-myth...

We now should try to identify which letter was by whom, and which box was put where. The letter in the school and the one on the Deadgirl seem to be by Linnie (along with the wooden box - flyinghorse, I think you got THE wooden box from the story), whilst this one was by William. Problem is... where did that card come from?? Who put it there?

Is the Rake a Valtiel character, who "helps" the crew figure out what happened to them?? So they can be gotten to?

FUUUUUUUU...

Candle Cove allusion? Nice.

Baby Hybrids being molested and crucifying bunnies 20 years before they were born? WTF?

Reverend Green slaughtered by Captain Habit, who'd apparently already been playing with Badger? Again, WTF?

The Baby Hybrids are apparently from Centralia? 20 years before they were born, even? WTF WTF WTF

Mr. Man slaughtering Rev. Green (in the kitchen, with a Rake) because he was punishing the wicked, or because he didn't want to share Baby Vinnie?

I love this so much!

"that town of ash"...Looks like we know where we're going, now. Evan and Vincent's hometown.

In other news, oh my god Vincent was the creepiest child. His eerie calmness does fit with our Vinnie though- he's the sanest-looking one, talking about all this in the most normal fashion he can. And I have to admit him hanging out with Evan and the "Captain Habit" line is kind of adorable.
