Baby Hybrids being molested and crucifying bunnies 20 years before they were born? WTF?

Reverend Green slaughtered by Captain Habit, who'd apparently already been playing with Badger? Again, WTF?

The Baby Hybrids are apparently from Centralia? 20 years before they were born, even? WTF WTF WTF

Mr. Man slaughtering Rev. Green (in the kitchen, with a Rake) because he was punishing the wicked, or because he didn't want to share Baby Vinnie?

I love this so much!

Quoth, "He is very, very greedy. Apparently, the Reverend that Man doesn't share." Apparently, once you're Slendy's, he doesn't let anybody at you. Confused

That letter. Wow. Uh.

Okay then. So the Vincent from 1971 also has some connection to the word "habit". I'm not sure what he meant about the conflicting accommodations, though - was it clear that the two kids wouldn't get along?

And I suppose that both kids are from Centralia, then. I guess we know where they're going next.

I think it is more than implied, yeah.

Also, I think I'm actually a fan of the time travel idea now.
Now that I read the whole thing, poor Vince. Jesus. We really don't want to finish that story.
And it looks like they threw Slendy into this now too. I want another video now.

This mention of Man, capitalised, is pretty terrifying. I'm seriously shitting bricks.
So far then, we have Evan/Habit and Vince being from Centralia and Vince being fairly social with Slendy apparently.
We also have a major Slendy disembowelling happening in the next room from where Vince was playing.
To be honest, given the insinuations from the letter, it seems as though Slendy was protecting Vince from the sexual advances of a paedophile priest; unless I'm mistaken.

P.S. I don't buy into the whole Slendy as protector thing usually, but this just struck me.

BAHAHAHAHA Candle Cove? :3

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

I've got this dawning expression of horror on my face and it won't. go. away.

and of COURSE Mr. Man doesn't share. Vinnie's too cute to hand around all willy-nilly. We're going to end up in Centralia aglkjh. It doesn't read as protective, to me. It appears jealous, possessive. Vincent was Slender's, and now that the Priest was after him, Slenders didn't want to share.

Has anyone asked them where they're from, btw? All we ever hear is where they ARE.

Don't know what it means, but the Vinnie letter is dated 6 months before the Evan letter, May 11, 1971 and November 17, 1971 respectively.

"from the mine"

"that town of ash"

This is looking more and more like Centralia.

And also more and more like Slendy is acting as a guardian spirit. At least to me. Did it seem to anyone else like Slendy saved Vincent from a pretty bad fate at the hands of Rev. Green? Now... whether he saved him out of altruism, jealousy or possessiveness I can't say...

So:

- the letter is Corenthal's, but he's refusing treatment to "Vince"

- "Evan" and "Vince" were from the same town, where some kind of nasty stuff went down

- a mining town, a 'town of ash' - Centralia? But he says 'the name is fitting', which to me means the town is actually called Town of Ash - maybe a name in an Indian language? Or in Spanish, like Los Angeles? Rings any bells, Americans?

- Habit seems to be more of a product of the kid's imagination, in some respects, almost a benevolent figure?

- Reverend, and a 'He' who's greedy and doesn't share... Freddy Krueger vibes here.

- Jeff?

- little Vince was an adorable little ball of FUCKING CREEPY

One of the first Slender Man pics from the original SA thread made Slendy out as some sort of cult leader, actually, so it somewhat makes sense regarding the priest?

Also, one of the older EMH tweets mentioned that Centralia was familiar. I still don't buy the time travel angle, but there's definitely some connection between Evan, Vinnie, and Centralia... and Slender.

This whole thing is one giant mindfuck X(

Slender Man doesn't seem the type to disembowel someone. Also, the letter mentions that whatever happened between Vincent and the reverend "continued for another year," so I don't think it was about protection. ...So is the patient Vince implying that Slender Man didn't want to "share" him with the Reverend? That is creepy as hell, augh.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE, seconding/thirding the Candle Cove reference being awesome.

more edits: Oh, wow, the lyrics to "For Reverend Green" are pretty relevant, if sort of vague. I didn't realize it was an Animal Collective song.

A careless child's money flew in the trees
A camping child's happy with winter's freeze

Hmm.

Centralia could VERY fittingly be called a Town of Ash since there has been a coal fire burning underneath it for over 20 years. One of the coal veins caught fire in a mine accident and it has proven impossible to put out. The town was abandoned and literally been left to burn for decades.

ETA: Sorry, just looked it up, the fire started in 1962. So nearly 50 years.
