This, only it's just Slenderman walking slowly towards the camera, a little static... and then BAM!! a ton of their CDs fall on him.

Cut to Rake naked cept for an IPod, sittin in a corner rockin out.

I actually realized earlier (and this counts both under 'Music Is Important' and 'Shit We Probably Should Have Realized A While Ago'), but the first song off the Animal Collective album Feels is called... wait for it...

"Did You See The Words".

I've been poking at the lyrics (http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/3530822107858562742/ , song here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXfwc0RDHBQ) trying to figure out if anything is going on here, but in fine Animal Collective fashion the song makes no goddamn sense (though the first line is an oblique reference to a disembowling, which is fitting).

 		Well now it's official.

the EverymanHYBRIDs are hardcore Animal Collective fans and are trying to trick us into listening to the music to make sense of their ridiculous plot!

A SCAM I TELLS YA!

Okay, so now it's pretty much decided their music is probably relevant here, so let's see...

There's For Reverend Green, Leaf House, Who Could Win a Rabbit, Did You See The Words...

And one called The Purple Bottle but it's possible that's not really... anything..

There's also one called Flesh Canoe, which to me sounds... suspicious.

Anyone a hardcore Animal Collective fan that cares to offer their insight?

 		To be honest? They probably didn't intend it, but they are actually marketing the band very well. I bought two Animal Collective albums a couple days ago. They're very good.

Sit tight; I may very well become a hardcore fan in a couple weeks.

Mother Fucker. How did we not catch that. We meaning you of course, I don't pay too much attention to the music/don't know Animal Collective that well (never bothered to listen to them).

It's been 8 days short of a month since Damsel's been gone. And I am most certainly LESS THAN HAPPY about that!

I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out, but back in September, Damsel posted http://twitter.com/youseethewords/status/25251038184 ("But the monster was happy when we made him a maze."), which is a line from the Animal Collective song Peacebone.

 		I do recall seeing that mentioned before, so it's not terribly new info.

Now if they used Tom Waits, Pomplamoose (and associated My Terrible Friend and Lauren O'Conell), or maybe some Sara Schiralli I'd be catching music references.
