The impression I got was "confirmed Jessa dead."

Why?

Because Damsel (who seems to know a thing or two) mentioned the bags. Her family, she said, was in those bags.

Now think -- Jessa goes missing, then we get "Joke's Over", then no more Jessa. (besides Magus's video...which has me a bit confused.)

Just pontificating, really.

I was just about to post saying that Jessa's in the bags. I think the evidence would indicate this theory having some validity.

This was my theory for quite a while (surprisingly then it was shot down), but now I have to shoot it down myself -

In the video Magus received, Jessa was alive and "kicking" (= shuffling) it. So no, it can't have been Jessa... except if Slendy took her organs out and now uses her as a puppet... shudder to think...

Well, that portion of the video could have been shot at any time after Jessa's disappearance, so the fact that it only showed up recently isn't necessarily evidence against her being in the bags.

What is pretty good evidence against that, though, is the fact that "Joke's Over" was released (August 12) before anyone said anything about Jessa being missing (August 15).

Thanks for debunking my stupidity. Having a rough time with life at the moment so I apologize for my faulty theory.

At this point, I'm really really hoping that they do get Jessa back safe and sound. With all the negativity going on, it would be good to have a hope spot.

Alex is being attacked by the Rake, Vince and Evan might be insane time travelers/reincarnations/Slender minions/whatever, Jeff is all depressed and boohoo-y, Damsel is gone probably forever ( ;_; ). *sigh*

Things aren't looking too good here, guys.

Actually, I see the reverse in terms of strength-of-argument; Jeff's whole dismal "Jessa is dead" routine in Magus's video implies that she's been gone a while; on the other hand, just because nobody said anything about Jessa being missing until the 15th doesn't mean that she vanished promptly on the 15th.

Slightly incorrect:

They shot the video and came home to find Jeff gone and Jessa not answering the phone. Jeff was on his trip even before he knew Jessa was gone.

In Magus video, he says "I went here before Jessa died" (in a very drunken sounding voice), with Vince chiming in he should stop being pessimistic. That alone indicates to me it can't have been her in there.

I don't know if we can trust that the Jessa in Congrats Magus is the actual Jessa.

That said, in Joke's Over, Vince talked about how he was being spammed with videos mutilated animals in bags. Someone needs to ask the boys what they did about the bags? Did they just leave them? Talk to the pd?

edit: to the first part, if they were pretty sure she was dead...that would make sense why Vince would stop Jeff from running to her(HIM.)

I think we should disregard this part - Jeff is audibly drunk (at least it sounds so to me), and I can understand his pessimism in places. Crying or Very sad

So we know that Damsel set the fire to her house.

Is it possible that JEFF set the fire at his school?

Also slightly incorrect. Jeff shot Joke's Over except for the part with Vince and Evan at home. By the time they posted it, Jeff had left and Jessa was missing. The encounter with SM in Joke's Over, and Jessa's disappearance is what caused Jeff to leave. This was mostly stated at the end of Joke's Over.

It could be. I mean, Damsel described herself as "guiltyGUILTYGUILTYGUILTY" when talking about burning her house down, and there was that picture in the middle of the picture montage of Jessa; the sketch of Slenderman with the same words written all around him. But it's all pretty circumstantial at this point. I hope there's a new video sometime soon.

Probably a bit late, but...

I think most definitely that Jessa was there, in a bag.

As mentioned before by someone, Slendy's probably really possessive and Jessa was getting all up on his property (Jeff). Shocked

The below images show her, I think. The legs and arms can be flipped, not sure which is which.

I dunno, don't they walk past a rather large, human shaped bag on the way to the clearing?
