The Rake is loving Alex to death. Imagine how a two year old handles a pet, not really understanding the difference between a rough touch and a gentle touch.... now give the two year old some wicked claws.

The Rake slinks out of the crawl space, sees the exposed arms and legs of a sleeping figure that he desperately wants to love/play with... but what we end up with...


Yeah... OR the wound is wide, deep and won't close unless you stitch it. Or give the appropriate ammount of time alone to heal.

Perhaps he is just barely hurt just because the Rake is testing. The Rake KNOWS that SM is possessive. It probably feel him around, in some way, and keeps distance. As SM already is targeting the Hybrids, it is trying to see if he can grab Alex.

Basically:
1- EMH crew goes to the "wrong" spot, bringing The Rake (TR) on their trail;
2- TR feels the presence of SM and starts to carefully see what he can get, without getting into a fight. It finds Alex.
3- TR starts to poke around Alex, to see if it's ok with SM. The scratches are only the evidence of it.

My guess: The next step is getting sparky. Then Alex will continue in denial and be the next target. Or open his mind and get closer to the Hybrids, that will take him into SM hunting ground.

Hmmm... Perhaps that would be a good strategy for the ARG? Make the predators fight and get the one that is still standing in the end.

I really don't think so. I don't think the picture is, either, but who can say for certain at this point... I have a bad habit of underestimating them and I'm really trying not to anymore!

And Kamen, you are so funny. I always try to get other people to do my dirty work for me because I get inexplicably bashful when I think about talking to them directly, ha ha. I even made a Tumblr so I could talk to Damsel and then completely abandoned it because I couldn't stop blushing/misspelling things.

Alright, on to serious matters now. Has anyone e-mailed the guys telling them to check on Alex? He needs an emergency room, BAD. I'm legitimately freaked out by this video. Those scratches match the dead girl's perfectly. If our boys don't step in, Alex isn't going to be long for this world. Crying or Very sad


YEEEESSSSS. I have lol. Saw them play a few years ago at Nottingham Rock City. When I got home my house mate refused to believe that Claudio sang down the strings to distort his voice. Took a video someone had taken to prove it to him lol. He was just jealous that he couldn't do it lol.

From our OOG conversations he's as into his movie make up as I am. I think he's used liquid latex and fake blood. I did this once for a slit throat effect and managed to convince someone it had happened lol. Remember he watches a LOT of gore so I think he'd pick up a lot of details about how to make it look real. If not then the nutter's gone and cut his arm up......

Anyways, back to IG:
He's panicking and frightened from the sounds of it. His breathing gives it away. At a guess he's been denying anything other than Sparky doing it because, like the guys, he needs something solid to prove that it's not her. Maybe he's finally seen what has been scratching him. At a guess the reason he had the camera running at the time is because he was filming another video, trying to show us that Sparky has been playing up again and something went wrong.

I sent him a message yesterday and not had a reply yet. Hopefully he'll reply before the night is out and I can get some info on the video. From the title of it though he was either too panicked to give it a title and just wanted to show us what was happening OR he doesn't know the video has been uploaded. Taking another guess, with all the creepy stuff happening to his profile, the black eyes, the dead rabbit and it saying his last log in was 10 hours ago rather than telling us he'd logged in to upload the video, my guess is that he has no idea it's been put there and more than likely won't be able to see it.

 		I'm pretty sure you guys are looking too closely at A Day In The Life. It's not an overly significant video, and I think it was just to set up other videos and give some character development. The video alone is just kind of bla, but I notice it's the jumping-off point for several other videos now, so I think that's why it was created and why it was so long, a sort of hub video. An iconic HYBRID video, and a place from which so many other stories branch off from.

This is the creepiest plausible thing I've read here, I think. One could possible even extend that to Slender Man himself--he just wants to reach out, reach out and touch someone. With his poisonous tentacles.

Something I've been thinking about: Damsel never even alluded, as I recall, to the Rake, so it looks like SM and R don't always travel together. Linnie's first note, likewise, seemed to be all about the Rake. Bill's letter to Linnie, though, said she was heading east specifically to see the boys, and they were SM-only at that point, so maybe she did have encounters with both. Or maybe--throwing out a tree here--she saw that the EMH guys were able to cause one fictional entity to manifest It's a Good Life style and thought they might know how she'd started pulling creepypasta into reality herself.

haha yes that same daughter. My 2nd still needs to make her appearance.....if she growled I'd be calling an exorcist considering she's still in utero lol.

As for why Alex is being scratched, could it be a warning from Rake or whatever is doing it, or curiosity. Maybe it just likes to see things bleed.......I'm putting my Jack Frost DVD in the bin now.

Also, what dead rabbit pic? I've got no time to catch up with the thread (which is huge and moves fast) and I didn't find it on the wiki...

Plus: I don't think all those images are really from A Day In The Life - Jessa was dressed very differently in that one, she had a white top with her hair pulled up, while in these she has a green shirt with her hair down. These are, however, the same images from one of the hidden videos. I think some are, however - the final scene with Evan running, at least.

I'm more worried that we'll wake up to find that they know exactly where Alex is: in the bathroom, and in the kitchen, in the back of the closet, and a bit under the bed. Sad

 		I think this thing with Alex is going to be a serious berzerk button for Jeff, if indeed he can see what we see and realize what's going on. He's hit an "angry helplessness" slump with Jessa's disappearance, but seeing his own brother being mutilated... that's gonna bring about a snap, I think.

Look for him to side more with Evan on the "we need to kill it" issue, with Vince left befuddled.
