It would actually be nice to get an update on Daniel and Ryan since they were both very directly involved in the plot at one point or another. Daniel having been the fake Slendy and Ryan having been present for Day In The Life which seems to have spun out a lot of stuff.

That is the smartest move.

If he says no, then just tell Evan or something.


I'll mention it to him. See what he says. He's as stubborn as a mule though so whether he will or not I don't know. At least he now knows it's not sparky and at least we now know it's the same creature that's in the no body video so we at least have a visual image of it already.

That's like putting it up as his Facebook status.

Anyway... if the boys were to go save Damsel, how do you think she would be able to help them?

Would she even be allowed visitors (ie: The guys) given the severity of her situation?
I can't think of any other way they could get close to her, discuss?

 		Well, she isn't violent, I don't think.. Even psychotic people can be allowed visitors, provided they aren't proving to be a danger to anyone who's in the same room as them.

 		Between her history of setting fires, what happened to her parents, and the fact that she was originally taken in for supposedly stalking the guys or having something to do with Jessa vanishing, I think it's quite likely that Jessa would be regarded as posing a danger to herself and others. Getting to visit her might be difficult. Especially seeing as they're not her family or her lawyer. And especially seeing as she might not even want to see them.

We don't actually know where she is. Depending on what, exactly, has gone down when she's been off-screen, and how much evidence the PD actually had on her, she is either in a mental health facility, in actual jail (or, more likely, some other sort of facility, given that the arson would have been when she was under 18, yes?), or was released from involuntary commitment a week or two ago and we have no freaking clue where she is.

If she is still in some sort of facility, I think it will kind of depend on how the staff thinks she's doing whether or not she can have visitors who aren't immediate family. It will also kind of depend on how they spin it. I mean, I love Evan, but I suspect I wouldn't let him in t o see my psychologically fragile patient if I were one of Damsel's doctors. Smile

Anyway, in my experience, there's a pretty big span of how much communication a hospitalized person is allowed to have with the outside world. One friend of mine was allowed to call me twice while she was hospitalized after a suicide attempt. My ex-boyfriend, on the other hand, just completely dropped off the face of the earth for five days when he was involuntarily hospitalized. It kind of depends on how severe the situation is, and whether or not the person is perceived as a danger to other people.

She wasn't in jail. Damsel's second to last post said that she had a psychiatric evaluation, and though the police had no basis to arrest her the evaluation made them want to keep her in for a while. You don't go to jail for failing a psychiatric evaluation, you get sent to mental hospital for evaluation for weeks - and perhaps indefinitely if they reckon you'd be a danger to yourself or others if they let you out.

 		She burned down the house that was the scene of a murder and fled the state. I consider it fully a possibility that she might be in the process of dealing with actual criminal charges.

True, but you could go to jail if you're still in a psych institution when investigators notice you've confessed to arson on your blog. And I suspect the DA would raise an eyebrow at your admission that you'd been rolling around in your parents' guts on their bed, even though you double-dog swore that you didn't actually kill them.

This is why I really, really hope Damsel was released on the 25th and hit the road or holed up somewhere. If she was supposed to have still been institutionalized when her final post came to light, the idea that she wouldn't be behind bars by now would seriously strain my suspension of disbelief.
