Telling Evan won't work... he would do something to piss it off, then it's just me and it together at night. Not a good idea. I think we've come to a conclusion that Sparky being in the room with him deterred The Rake from coming in a lot. It shows that his scratches weren't as bad when she was there with him. He's got no idea how it got into his room either. I'll mention his background on his profile changing too when I next reply. I've asked him for a description of the smell it emanated too.

 		It's admirable that Alex wants to deal with this thing as a lone wolf...but its getting painful to hear him make reasons not to tell anyone / get help / take better precautions than a bat and a laundry basket.


I guess eventually Jeff and the others will have to find out...I just hope there's something left to save by that point Sad

Anyway, Alex has apparently decided the solution to his problems is to not sleep. Trying to reason with this kid is about as frustrating as trying to reason with my 17 year old sister. So, you know, A+ for verisimilitude, I guess.

Also, given how many people were tweeting at Jeff about this whole thing, I'm not sure what else we can do to alert them. Unless they mean "we like e-mail alerts better."

I don't know if it's from an AC song, but in Bioshock,

It was the triggerword for the main character to have to do whatever was asked of him after the phrase "Would you kindly." IE: "Would you kindly get the radio" would force you to get the radio.

The police actually didn't have enough to convict her and throw her in jail. Yeah, a house that she lived in burned down, and yeah, one of her close friends disappeared. Suspicious? Yes, incredibly so, but suspicion isn't enough to convict someone on serious charges.

You're right, they didn't have anything on her at the time of her induction. Since then, though, she has confessed publicly and spectacularly.

 		The confession means absolutely nothing to the cops, for two reasons:

- You're assuming the cops know about her tumblr and bothered to follow it. That's a pretty big assumption to make.

- And even if they see the confession, what do they have? An unlikely-sounding story from a mental patient, written as they were about to be involuntarily hospitalised? Unless they have actual forensics from the time of the crime to back that story up that's not going to stand up very well.

Have you suggested anything about compensating for his blood loss with what he's eating/drinking? He clearly isn't making good decisions, and seems really disoriented and lethargic in his last video...if he plans to face off against this thing alone (which is a BAD idea to start with), he should at least try to be at 100%

I'd be surprised if Jeff didn't point them toward canyouseethewords when he did whatever he did with the cops. And remember, during the psych interview they presented "a series of photographs, quotations, and copies of [her] art." The photos and paintings they could have seized from her apartment, but the quotations bit suggests they were looking at her blog.

And it would be totally unbelievable if an ~18 year old girl had managed to burn down a house without it being obvious arson.
