Have you suggested anything about compensating for his blood loss with what he's eating/drinking? He clearly isn't making good decisions, and seems really disoriented and lethargic in his last video...if he plans to face off against this thing alone (which is a BAD idea to start with), he should at least try to be at 100%


I didn't think to ask about how he's keeping healthy lol. I'll mention it when I next reply. I'm thinking that his refusal to tell anyone other than his youtube followers is a way to steer the story. I think he's dropping hint to tell Jeff and the guys. I've been trying to give him advice on staying safe and telling him that there's no way in hell he'll be able to stay awake constantly. I've told him to listen to sparky at night. I doubt he'll sleep deeply for the next few nights so if he hears her growl, be prepared.

He also had no idea about the background changing. I let him know what happened and said I'd been trying to find a picture of the rabbit to show him. I don't know if it's been used in media but I've explained that when they eyes of the guy he usually has as his background changes, it looks like Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit's contact lenses.

Cheers Mattwan. I've told him that his reaction is perfectly normal and told him about a situation I was in a few years ago which left me lashing out every time someone approached me unexpectedly. Damn spooks.
I've told him that he NEEDS to eat to compensate for the iron he's lost because if he becomes anaemic he'll be too tired to fight this thing.

 		it's really cute that evryone is worrying over Alex. when emh started i never figured we'd have so many central characters, all rounded out so well. i wonder if jessie (mitzistar?) will become progressively more important as well, or if she was just a redherring.
now, he may be hinting at us to tell jeff (we spur some action but he has to remain in character), or might be (not so) hinting at us NOT to tell jeff (like oog they have planned to have alex disappear if jeff finds out in some dramatic way). then again, the former is more likely; i'm just paranoid because someone suggested we killed jessa by not solving a puzzle quick enough or soemthing.

[edit] I thought the idea of having him sleep at someone elses house was good, but doubt he will follow the suggestion. evan does seem to be a good choice here, and it might even give the evan character more dimension which would be cool,but again he seems really against it.

He's headed off to sleep for now. He's napping on the sofa for a few hours and keeping an all night vigil in his room. He said it didn't turn up last night whilst he stayed awake. He's keeping Sparky with him, I've told him to keep his camera pointed towards the foot off his bed to try to catch the beastie in action.
In the stories of the rake is there any mention of how it moved? Alex said it managed to keep eye contact but seemed to be convulsing. I know when I have a seizure I can keep eye contact sometimes but I don't always jerk and shake so I'm wondering if it's something The Rake did naturally.

 		I don't recall anything about the rake doing anything like that. but i am not a rake expert; i know much more about slendy than rake. i do remember that he is supposed to whisper to them a lot though. they may have done some audio with that part (and the totally black scene with only the audio), but alex hasn't mentioned anything about it, right? so he hasn't acknowledged it, realized it, or they aren't using it. i vaguely remember a rake story that mentioned a certain number of times the rake appears to you (you wake up and see him) before you die. assuming this rake thing is newand that emh keeps that aspect of the story, he still has 2 or more encounters to go. so hopefully we don't have to worry too much yet Smile

I think that's what Alex may have meant.
I mentioned the whispering to Alex earlier and he said he didn't know. I sent him the link to the stories too. Went with the whole EMH thing where it started as a story and somehow became a reality. I'll give Alex his due though, his messages shows he's terrified which is fairly good acting lol.

 		This is probably old news, but just case it's not, this extract is from the original Rake creepypasta.

A Suicide Note: 1964

As I prepare to take my life, I feel it necessary to assuage any guilt or pain I have introduced through this act. It is not the fault of anyone other than him. It just jumped out at me. Again, probably old news - I have read the entire thread, but can't recall if it was there. If it's not, I guess it is now.

Yup, old news but its a good reminder to go with Alex's story arc. My memory is really bad so I quite like it when things are mentioned again Very Happy Helps me think of things to ask Alex lol.
Alas, I am going to have to go to bed. Got a feeling I'll be in hospital in a few days but like I said I'll let you know when little miss is on her way. Her sister managed to frighten the life out of me again tonight. Settling her down in a pitch black room and I didn't see her stand up and start growling at me. Not a fantastic thing to hear when you find out a main character in a story you're following has been attacked by The Rake. I shit a small cathedral.
