Long-time lurker who's finally registered. I don't have much to offer in the way of new ideas or theories, but I've organized some notes based on the latest letter... thoughts?

Evan (Dec. 1971: HABIT; killed a nurse and rabbits; took pictures; assumed dead in 1987 letter)

Vince (May 1971: Candle Cove, the "Man" saving him from rapist priest; artistic; assumed dead in 1987 letter)

Jeff (described as a writer in 1987 letter; Corenthal worked at Jeff's elementary school, which burned down and nearly killed Jeff; assumed dead in 1987 letter)

Damsel (???; assumed dead in 1987 letter)

Linnie ("New York attack", feral demon = the Rake; taken "east" by Corenthal, presumably for adoption)

Jesse (Corenthal's niece)

Monster Activity:

Slenderman targets Damsel (murdered family, appeared in dreams from childhood, told her to move North), Evan (appearing in house), Jeff (shrine, Jessa kidnapped/controlled)

The Rake targets Alex (nightly lurking and attacks), Linnie (killed-- assuming she is the Dead Girl)

I have been keeping up with this thread for a fair while now, I just haven't had much to contribute.

I do have a little something regarding the bit in the Centralia video, with Jeff and his girlfriend where the audio is muted. My cousin is hearing impaired, and is a fair hand at reading lips. I finally got to sit her down and have her run over that section with me earlier today. She couldn't give me anything conclusive with the jittery video quality, but she is fairly sure that she can make out the last half of what the girlfriend says. The first half is completely unintelligible to her.

The last three sentences or so are something along the lines of:

"I have to go, but it's okay. It will be alright. We will be just fine."


Not sure how terribly helpful that is, or if it has been covered, but this thread moves way to fast to keep up some days.

I actually do think think that [redacted] is Alex.
reasons being

if there is any connection between the Corenthal boys and the EMH boys ( no matter what theory you subscribe to i.e. reoccurring archetypes, time displacement/travel etc ) Alex doesn't physically make sense due to the fact that he and Jeff look way too similar to not actually be related. Meaning Alex is part of the "4 mining children" he was always Jeff's brother.
also Corenthal states that Vince and [redacted] were "visual young artists" and we know that Alex is a lauded painter from the "Business cards on a Plane" video.
