Though the p.o.k.e.r.(<--word was considered spam) theory seems legitimate, I'm on board with the pinball TILT. We jostled the game too much, and now we lose a ball (one hybrid). Or maybe it was the EMH boys themselves that tried to cheat and they're the ones being punished.

Or it could be an indirect way of saying that we have no control over certain plot points. We can direct them toward clues and help them solve certain puzzled, but we don't have control over major things like character deaths and such.

PS I gradually noticed the faceless avatars. Nice touch.

Now if Alex dies or more likely is already dead, it would have a huge effect on the plot. (I like making lists these days)

* It would mean the end of the WickedStickyAlex story.
* It would have a pretty big effect on Jeff- who's partially at fault for him being in danger, since Alex doesn't want him to get more freaked out after what happened to Jessa.
* It would bring the cops back into this. We know they were jerks to Damsel and I remember Vinnie saying something like "The cops don't even believe us" at one point. Imagine what would happen if the brother of the guy who's girlfriend is missing and reported her best friend to a psych ward turned up dead- Jeff would be extremely suspicious. That might be why Evan is shown in the ward in the latest video, too; they think he's a danger.
* Most importantly, it would put The Rake prominently in the guy's eyes for the first time. Not counting when they saw him in CCNB it's always been Slendy they're worried about. This would let them know that Rake's a threat as well, something they ignored when poor Alex got tangled with him.
* It would also leave Sparky without an owner. ;_;

EDIT: Oh! And!

* It would be the perfect time for the boys to be contacted by Linnie, William and/or Rose. We know they're related to the Rake plot-wise, and now it's becoming very important.
