well technically everyone has pre..proo.....procognition dreams. its all about whether you remember them. =D

That's true. I get a lot of them but don't tend to remember them until the event actually happens. Apparently looking at the colour blue before you sleep is supposed to help you remember your dreams. No idea how or why. Tried it a few times and it seemed to work for me but that could have been me subconsciously remembering the dreams because I thought I had to.

'Tis why I think that everyone has the ability to see the future, it's just no one has the capacity to yet.

and bluuuuueeee. *stares at blue*

lol. Lemme know if it works for you. It just feels like deja vu when it happens. I always think "hang on, I've seen this before" then realise that I'd had a dream about it months, weeks, years ago etc.

Once, I had a dream in the like 3rd grade about laying on a table with someone holding a gas thingy over me to put me to sleep and I'm all "I can't breathe! I can't *snore*".... then three years ago, I get my tonsils out and viola. I remember.

EDIT: Also, I once tried to break my Dejavu by doing something I didn't do in the dream... I succeeded and immediately felt dizzy/sick. D:

Bizarrely enough, I get that a lot as well. Even playing video games. (Or that could be because video games are all alike these days, meh.)

What's REALLY weird is when I get deja vu about getting deja vu about it! Shocked

I've had that before too. "...Woah.. I've had a dream about doing this... Woah! I dreamt about saying that! Woah!!"

I actually have a huge interest in regards to 'precognitive' dreams. I've polled many friends, family members and coworkers. It seems to vary wildly between everyone, and I'm unsure about the results.

For myself, I no longer dream. Not...normal dreaming. Every single dream I have is a precognitive dream. Usually about three every evening. I can dream events out hours, days, weeks, months and even years in advance. My current record (as far as I know) is six years ahead of time.

Kind of crazy, eh? I'll let you all know if I dream anything EMH or Slendy related.

Edit: I also have nightmares now and then with a recurring figure, but he's more of a Shadowy Force as opposed to a Slenderman figure. Terrifying stuff.

Do you guys think there is any value in going back and trying to figure out in what instances we're seeing fake slendy and when we're seeing real slendy?

The guys made a point that 'they' weren't going to take the time to point it out...so was that a nudge for us to do it? I personally haven't done it yet, but I think it might be feasiable, basing it on instances where we know it's fake Slendy( Upper Body and Arms) and when it's real. What colour tie does fake slendy have?

I don't know, I just grasping at straws here. I just can't shake the feeling that there's some value in the first couple of videos, now that we know that the guys didn't just "Piss off Slenderman by mimicking him)

I read a cool theory about how deja vu is actually your brain firing stuff into your long-term memory rather than your short-term, so you only think you've experienced the moment before, when in reality you are experiencing it for the first time.

I get your thinking, but I can't help but feel that knowing whats real and fake Slendy wont help. I think we're at a dead end till they give us more to work with.

Or we really are all in the Matrix.

It's an interesting theory, but I can't bring myself to believe it. The specifics that I see in each instance are nothing my brain could have conceived of beforehand if it didn't have some method of retrieving them via some...source.

Down to exact text and exchanges with people I wouldn't meet for years to come.

Well, there's a difference between 'deja vu' and 'i've dreamed this before'. Deja vu is just a vague feeling of familiarity. I've had it.

And i remember none of my dreams.

There have been so many times when I've felt like I dreamed something before it happened...but I don't ever remember the specifics of the dream and just have a strong feeling of familiarity. It's always fun to just stop a conversation and go "Deja vu!", even if everyone gets mad :3

And I know this is a few pages late, but as for the entire female lead in a Slenderseries thing...I'm writing a novel about Slenderman for NaNoWriMo, and the protagonist in that is female. Very Happy

True enough! I suppose what I'm talking about is a bit different than simple deja vu. Always makes me feel weird though. Like I'm seeing and knowing things that I shouldn't know.

Confused

It's no wonder I get this and the off topic thread confused...
