I'd actually agree with Adah that Jessie doesn't seem super-important in the game yet, although they've certainly set her up to play a big role, or provide some huge exposition, at some point. If I'm right, the videos so far seem to be providing...not even commentary, really, since they don't seem to give us a different lens through which to view the main action. They do seem to be too relevant to current action too often to be pure coincidence, though, so I'm hoping someone with a more lateral brain than mine can come up with something.

The cute li'l tree I'm growing is that she's experiencing some psychic fallout from the boys' Slender infestation, which is subconsciously influencing her choice in videos.

EDIT: Aw, hell, you know what we lost track of during the excitement of the last couple of months? "Cops Checked" ends with Evan and Jessie on their own after the group split up, only to be rejoined at the video's close by Jeff and Vince showing up in an agitated state. We never did even get a clue as to what they were up to off-camera, did we?

It's cool. I'm having a bit of an off week myself. I have been averaging 2 hours of sleep for the past few day because of the test rush right before Thanksgiving. Teacher in college think they are the only ones clever enough to schdule a test the day before break when in reality, they all were clever enough to do it. On the same day. All within an hour if each other. Sometime I wish I did cocaine..... /rant


So, ya. Hopefully we will get an update from someone, anyone soon.

Maybe we're getting radio silence because the boys have all disappeared, mayhaps into 'the ark'; and sooner or later mitzi/jessie will post in some sort of upset manner. or maybe the story will shift and she'll carry on the legacy (ala JustAnotherFool), which is how we will find our corenthal connections easier; her youtube could be in place for that.
or maybe not.

off topic: I saw stephen frys 'words/language' in kinetic typography a few weeks ago, it was amazing. there's one called 'mad as hell' (a clip from a movie) that was just as epic.

Not that it means much, but, I agree with Adah. You guys can analyze her channel, and why not? It's not like we lose anything, and it's something to focus on during this radio silence. But, I do think that they mentioned her name for Ustream callback and to establish that she's been involved before and just didn't come out of nowhere. It could become important, it might be important now and I'm completely wrong, but... I definitely wouldn't expect something earth-shattering or anything from this (Not that I'm saying you guys were *expecting* something earth-shattering from this o.O! I just wanted to chime in ^^; ).

I'm totally on the Jessie's important bandwagon.

She wouldn't be in the game if she wasn't. Plus, she's a character that doesn't have super-strong tie with the guys(or in a nut house).


If someone happened to Alex(RAKE'D), the other guys are going to be tough to talk to(I'm pretty sure Jeff is going to check-out mentally), she's going to be the person we take cues from.

first off, sorry, but this is going to be a bit off-topic.

but i'm dead curious and i have a bizarre feeling it might be useful to know precisely what kind of knife it is that evan is so fond of carrying around with him. i've been running a couple searches for it, but does anyone know offhand? it's a long shot, i suppose, but i'd like to know if this is the kind of weapon you'd find in a sporting goods/hunting-type store or if you'd have to go through some trouble to get your hands on it.

(not that i'm thinking of getting one or anything, heh, but it's distinctive and deliberate and it's a detail that would be fun to add to his character.)

edit: i know it looks like a bayonet, but i'm talking brand/model/etc.

editedit: feel free to just pm me about it so we don't clog the thread with my insane desire to scrutinize such a tiny detail of the series. but damn it, i like details! (and the smallest ones tend to be the most telling...)
