 		Good vid. Sometimes the acting is a little strained, and the calmness with which they're accepting everything is a little... well... calm, but the humor was great and the editing fantastic.

Evan crying wolf startled me, then I laughed, then shat brix XD

The cut to chains was perfect.

Also, OH NO VINCE.

EDIT: Oh, totally calling the "security camera" footage as being somehow connected to Slenderman.

I think Evan is just genre saavy. One does not attack Slenderman with a baseball bat and not learn a thing or to.

Hell, we're perfect examples. One of use get's a weird phone call and we automatically assume it's from HABIT or the Rake. I think it's fair for Evan to assume that if something weird is happening...it's probably something supernatural

Very much makes sense given what's been happening to the HYBRIDs, but it's interesting to note that's the very first thing that he thought of. Outside of that context, with just that footage to go on, I might have thought of self-injury or something.

Except, seriously, who made that footage and why?


Two theories.

1) The footage was 'burned' onto the medium with no original recording, psychically, a la The Ring. Hence, the 'recorder' would technically be SM itself.

2) Jeff or Vince. Both are technically proficient and most of the SM canon tends to suggest that the not-so-nice videos are made by crazed acolytes of SM, or those he has driven mad, or existing victims acting unconsciously. I think it's very possible one of them concealed their equipment and recorded Alex in secret, without being consciously aware of it.

I don't believe the Rake works with tools or is tweeting up a storm. I think if anyone's doing stuff with technology it's one of the boys, or SM, or a prior victim.

 		Man. Evan is awesome and should be the 'lead' in videos more often.

Alex is catching stupid from the rake, maybe.

I love how Alex is all "i don't want my parents to know, so let's talk upstairs" and then ten minutes later they're chaining the door shut from the outside, like his parents will never in a million years notice that. made me giggle.

Perhaps Evan brought some sanity to the discussion? "You know, you won't have to explain this to your parents if they're dead..."

I'm pretty sure they thought the thing was still crawling around the room, too, not just somewhere in the house or whatever. So it would be an active threat.
