DAILY DOUBLE: This fish is the name for number of species of freshwater and saltwater fish belonging to the Salmoninae subfamily of the family Salmonidae.

Anyway, working on making the GIF myself with PS instead of using an auto converter.

I want to say those are dog tags around Evan's neck?

Also, how'd they get a hold of chains so fast?

 		This is the best shot I found of Evan's necklace. Looks like a little statue of the Virgin Mary. I've never seen anyone wear anything like that, maybe it's a NJ Catholic thing?

I always keep chains around the house just in case I need to lock an eldritch horror inside one of my rooms.

I want to say that the whole Butcher comparison there and Evan's necklace is a coincidence. Not difficult to imagine Evan wearing that IRL, just like he was wearing a Bioshock 2 shirt.

I agree. It's a coincidence. And thankfully so, we've got enough going on here...we don't need catholicism too!

 		Maybe if Evan (and his knife along with him, of course) vanishes and we find his Virgin Mary necklace in another town, we can count it as something significant.

Mmmm...ribs.

Great gif! And the Butchers thing is neat, but I'm leaning more toward coincidence at the moment. I'd guess now would be a good time for the boys to start loading up on religious iconography, in case a couple of vampires decide to join the monster mash.

So, did anybody else think this (awesome) video was kind of tonally weird? Like they were playing up the humorous aspects intentionally? I can't help but think the whole "Evan fakes them out in the closet--real monster growls--quick cut to inexplicably appearing chains" was pure Scooby Doo homage, and Evan's deadpan when Alex decided to call and check in on Vince at the end was classic.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing at all, but it made the video feel more produced than naturalistic, at least to me. Maybe it's supposed to suggest that by this point they're totally inured to the idea that eldritch horrors are lurking in their house?

Been semi-lurking this thread, first time posting. I just got home at an ungodly hour to find the new vid and the discussion about it, and I'm pretty much going to agree with the whole "Wow, this is really unfitting for them" sentiment.

I'm not going to blow it off or anything, though, because I'm trying to look at it from one of two ways:
1. It's just comic relief because they know how crazy everyone's been getting about the constant ramping up going on in the story lately
2. Everyone in the video is just out of it for in game reasons. Alex because he's been getting Raked for a while now, Jeff because he was just woken up (Hey, I have to give him credit for even understanding words and sentences about ten seconds after sleepytown), and Evan because... Well, he's known for being awesome, not stable.

That, or maybe everyone was right before about finals and it being a busy time of year, and they just felt like they needed to update with SOMETHING but didn't have the time or energy to do something more serious. Either way, I have to say I kinda liked this one, even if it was "off" for EMH.

 		YAY ALEX ISN'T DEAD! *dances*

A few things I've gotten from this video:

1. Evan is the biggest badass to ever grace the Earth
2. I've gone from being worried about Alex to worried about Vince ( ; . ; )
3. Evan said he has a sister, so the idea that they are the same people from the Corenthal papers is further shot.
4. I'm pretty sure that Rake is saying, "I am Evan". Someone already said this and no one seemed to agree, but I'm almost positive that's what he's saying.

EDIT: 5. Evan totally gave a shout out to the slash fanfiction. I'm a little afraid that between the fear these guys put me through and the love I have for them my heart will just give out one day. I'll have been worth it.
