 		[HUNT Trail] The Telnic Treasure
Not an ARG (by my definition) but definitely a transmedia story, involving puzzles.

The Telnic Treasure Hunt Competition, a "weekly adventure story", started last week with Chapter One.

How it works:

Every week, over a ten week period, the location of each new chapter will be discoverable by players who solve puzzles in the story to find the appropriate .tel name that will have a link to the following week's chapter. As the characters in the story move around the world, those following the story will seek out .tel names through the .tel-only search directory Telpages (http://telpages.com). By using the answers from the puzzles as search terms players can discover links to the locations of each new chapter in the correct .tel name. Once all of the chapters have been found, a final puzzle will lead to a unique email address on a .tel name, to which a keyword needs to be sent to win the prize.


from the official rules, the contest/competition portion is "only open to residents of the United States and the United Kingdom" and you must be 18 years of age or older to enter. I assume you can still follow along with the story otherwise. The trail began on May 14th, 2010, and entries must be received by August 20th, 2010.

 		don't know if any the rest of you are doing this one, but it's kinda cool.

the story itself is about a girl (Emma) who gets a trailhead in the post, to meet someone on a train, as she seems to be bored with her life she decides to go along. and so the adventure begins

chapter ones clue:

With a name crafted from silver in old Latin tongue.

Visit the city of fair winds and good air,

Seek out a hostel with a dance full of flare.
