Heehee, yep, but that was because one of his links was "wongmoheartsyou" or something like that. So I copied it from the great Wongmo himself. And I do still heart him. No matter what Sam or Roger say! At least Phil agrees with me... Very Happy

Non-thermal Fire

In the researc from little-boxes it mentions about the hurricane.
Could that be a photo of the hurricane?

I have converted the image to negative format

Quote:
Research : Current
Non-thermal Fire
Date: August 21, 2003
Location: Fitzgerald, GA
More Information:

Seven eyewitness reports have been filed regarding a strange fire burning Southeast of Fitzgerald, GA that exhibited two curious properties: It generated no heat and did not consume fuel or otherwise damage the surrounding area. The eyewitness accounts, obtained separately from observers viewing the event from different perspectives, matched almost perfectly. They report a column of bright burning fire that they were able to approach very closely while feeling no heat from the flames. After the fire extinguished itself, it was found that the trees and grass in the area showed none of the typical charring and burning one would expect from a fire, nor was there any immediately apparent damage to the surrounding areas.

Investigation is ongoing.

umm

just to let you know it is blatant that the image is 2 trees, just the colours match as they go upwards look at the two bigger images at the bottom they are the stumps. By now you should have realized,

Does it make any significance that the trees are arranged the same way the hearts are, 1 in front of the other? 1 overlapping the other.

sorry to disagree, but for me the image in the background is clearly one giant nuclear mushroom. If there are supposed to be two trees, how come the trunk in the left tends to be disseminated?

Why two hearts?

Not the normal way to "heart" someone.

Okay, this has probably already been answered. But what's reflecting in the Smiley Face's Eyes?

just click on the smiley (since it's too big to show here):

Cool

niobexrev, could you please remove that pic? It's so large that it's stretching the screen, which is a bit annoying. Very Happy Also...er, if you think that it's been discussed, why not search for it? It has been discussed, I'm pretty sure.

omg. When are people going to get me? Look. Of course yes, I do a search, but in case I don't find it I ask you guys to see if you have. It's a completely logical procedure in my view. fyi I did find it Cool

I get it, it just doesn't make sense to me... why not do the search first and then ask, if you can't find it? It would result in a much more economical use of board space...
I'm not trying to be annoying, btw.
Very Happy<--See? Me happy...no flames...listen to your inner dolphin...

Thanks for taking down the pic, btw.

Logical???
What you MEAN (which is not, btw, in any way reflected in what you SAY) is:

"I haven't searched for this yet, but I'm planning on it. But before I have done a search - and without: a) letting you know that I've done it; b) informing you that it produced no results - I would like you to see if maybe you will have better luck finding this."

That^ is quite opposite of "logical" (trying hard not to make a joke about Lewis Carroll, logic, and Wonderland Smile )

I'm (sincerely) NOT trying to get on your case or anything (and I am sorry if you think that I sound harsh). It's just that we already have 15 hackers whose meanings we have to "get", not to mention the storyline - it would be nice if we didn't have to "get" each other Smile .

Besides, it's always best to say what you mean, instead of leaving it up to people's devices to interpret you (because then they could be wrong, as appears to be the case).

Once again, the great Lewis Carroll nails it:

'....Then you should say what you mean,' the March Hare went on.

'I do,' Alice hastily replied, 'at least - at least I mean what I say - that's the same thing, you know.'

'Not the same thing a bit!' said the Hatter. 'You might just as well say that 'I see what I eat' is the same thing as 'I eat what I see'!'

'You might just well say,' added the March Hare, 'that 'I like what I get' is the same thing as 'I get what I like'!'

'You might just as well say,' added the Dormouse, who seemed to be talking in his sleep, 'that 'I breathe when I sleep' is the same as 'I sleep when I breathe'!'

'It is the same thing with you' said the Hatter, and here the conversation dropped...

Wow, you put a lot of work into this long winded, but well meaning mind you, Wink response. Perhaps I should have been more clear. By logical I meant "lazy". That response wasn't one of my normal lash out responses. i.e. I was joking (notice the smiley at the end of the post)... well, half joking/half serious meaning that I'm glorifying the law of laziness. I should have actually put the word "sarcasm" in, because clearly without it, it just comes across as a serious post, and people misunderstand you and you get the "hey i'm smarter than thou art because I know one author that you don't" people with their meaningless sermons on life.

Anyway what the hell am I talking about? Little kids have trouble picking up sarcasm at first. I should know, I'm studying to be a teacher (yes, that's right, a teacher, one who did not know who Lewis Carroll was *place joke here*)

(yes, that's right, a teacher, one who did not know who Lewis Carroll was *like everyone else in the American educational system*)

(yes, that's right, a teacher, one who did not know who Lewis Carroll was *I'm only teaching 17th century French literature, Aristotlian metaphysics, and the poetry of John Donne*)

(yes, that's right, a teacher, one who did not know who Lewis Carroll was *isn't he the guy with the telethon?*)

(yes, that's right, a teacher, one who did not know who Lewis Carroll was *What does a Lewis Carroll fan say when he runs out of pot? "Hey, this book sucks!"*)

Ooh! Oh! You're a beautiful audience!

I'm sorry for not comprehending that the smiley was supposed to indicate more than a link (i.e. that it refers to your somehow humorously eqauting "logical" and "lazy").

I wish you best of luck with your career (again, sincerely). What school district are you planning on teaching in?
