Vapor do you have the frames as you originally extracted them, cropped down to the important parts but without the red characters written on them?
The filmstrip I used was just clip art from a CD I have. I was trying to keep it simple. Did that answer your question?

OK - the boss man whispered in my ear*.
1. Go for it with the unfiction name or URL if you want to use either or both, but please include a disclaimer whereever it's being sold to say that it's not an official Unfiction product.
2. If you want to use the Unfiction logo, the Chief Designer of Unfiction Couture would like design approval (artists are such prima donnas).
3. Probably best to go with a clever homage to Super 8 rather than using the term directly, it's not a cage worth rattling.
4. We must party
*if my ear was a post on the forum.

Uh, no - you are credited with the upload of the image on the wiki. I was hoping you'd assembled the wiki image yourself and have the pieces used to make that composite image.

Oh, no I sure don't, I saved those images from the original trailhead thread and just uploaded them to the wiki.
ETA: It was blaqueice that posted the original frame capture on the forum.

I'm going to try a few designs, but later tonight as I'm at work and am busy this evening...
And yes, "homage" is a good descriptive word of the shirt content no copying, no trademark use...

Can I copyright "We must party"? =] I'm just kidding, obviously. I'm looking forward to seeing some of these designs. I would help, but I don't have photoshop or anything. =\

If you want to add the URL:
unfiction.com/wemustparty
To the shirt, TPTB here are willing to create the alias to redirect to these forums.

I think the shirts should be subtle in appear and have an "aged" look to them therefore it really hypes the in-the-know idea...crackled text and maybe a film strip behind going diagonal

Hm-mm, aged look is something that I didn't even think about at first, but Your really on to something with that idea.

I think before we get too carried away with the design, we should find out from agentasparagus what he is capable of screening. In my experience, 1 color screening = simplistic design.
Also, 300 dpi or better resolution. It can be sized down if needed but sizing up causes problems. 300 dpi is print standard.

I think a simple white 1 color screening of the filmstrip style 'We Must Party" on the front (I like the idea of horizontal though, maybe just me) with the white text on back unfiction.com/wemustparty in a very simple, plain font would be most striking and elegant. Black t-shirts of course.
Main thing would be to come up with the filmstrip design.
