Soapbox...
for the newer ARG-onauts

I was sitting here ruminating, on the fact that we as fans of certain genre's of film and T.V. and entertainment in general, have a pretty awesome outlet here at UnFiction, to follow viral campaigns, and ARG's, and create continously entertaining new paths for ourselves and others to immerse and involve ourselves in each and every week.
And I have to admit, I feel guilty as hell.
Don't think I've ever properly thanked anyone here, the Administrators, the Moderators, or the behind the scenes technicians and family that put up with the countless hours of involvement that this here site requires. I really enjoyed following Cloverfield, even when the douche-quotient reached critical mass, I sat out and ghosted it till the end. And now, before this monster called Super 8 gets its momentum up, and we lose sight of things, I wanted to pause for a minute and thank every one of them. We can't always contribute monetarily, lord knows it's tough for a lot of good folks right now, but I, for certain, have a huge soft-spot for these folks, and hopefully, when things pick up, will shoot a fat wad of cash their way.

But till then, Thank you folks. MikeyJ, and Euch, and ndemeter, Rose and SpaceBass, and everyone that made me feel welcome the first time around. And hello to new friends, and old acquaintances.
When you new folks come across these guys, show some love. Not often you find a place that takes people in so warmly, and requires so little in return.

Hell yeah, congrat's Eleven72!
He's on a top-secret mission in Ohio, could be standing at an elevated RR crossing as we speak. Or, could be sitting in a hotel, bored silly like the rest of us...

(asda, gotta get signed up, bud. No hassles, but easier to PM and such.)

I'm in Kentucky now, actually. Any sleuthing you need me to go about?

It's a great series to pick up, and the whole set will be dirt cheap by Christmas, so woohoo. Just try not to tear your hair out. Drinking games help. One shot every time Ana Lucia grabs her gun is a winner, or chug for "Dude".
