Staff of the Magi
I noticed an announcement on the MySpace Blog of Staff of the Magi today. Staff of the Magi Productions is the group that put on "What Is This Game?" that some here played (and recently just ended). Their last production (What Is This Game) was very interactive with a character (here is his picture http://www.whatisthisgame.com/boston) from the game showing up at the ARG Fest. I did not attend, but some players did attend.

This latest announcment today is about their next production called "Something Is Coming". I thought I would post it if anyone is interested in playing to keep it in mind. Will be starting in approx. a month. Below is the paste from their blog:

This is an exciting day for all of us here at Staff of the Magi Productions. With the recent completion of "What is this Game?", we announced that next Spring, the filming will begin for "What is this Movie?" featuring the contest winner.

Today marks the announcement of our next interactive production and it is...

Something is Coming
We will be launching the Official Site for Something is Coming on December 24, 2008 at 8 PM EST. You can check out the myspace page for Something is Coming by visiting the link to this production in our top friends. More infomation will be posted as Christmas Eve approaches.

Yes, it will be a real competition to try and beat MagnetO. But maybe this will be different in some ways.

Missing the opening may not have any effect on the arg. Have no idea how this arg will differ, but last arg there were many individual goals and team goals and puzzles whereas your individual points accumulated that you could use later in the arg.

 		well they say the official start is at 8pm. most kiddies are in bed by then so the adults can play.

:edit: 8pm EST... so PST'rs remember the time difference.

First it is an ARG not a GAME

also, it will be fine if you are not here on Christmas EVE - this is part of the statement:

"Something is Coming will be dramatically different than our last production. It will be a unique interactive experience unlike anything you have seen in the alternate reality gaming universe to date with an equally original prize.

Details on how you can get directly involved will begin to be revealed when the site launches on Christmas Eve at 8:00 PM EST. A teaser trailer will also be available at launch as well as hints as to what prize is up for grabs this time around."

EDITED: If someone else wants to get a Wiki started, it would be great. I did a WIKI on the last ARG, but I have a different job now and won't be able to devote the time needed to do a good job.

 		wasn't here for the last one, and i'd like to get in on a ARG that was new, jumping in on half finished ones just isn't that fun. Anyways, i'll be waiting
