So we're ruling out that the Stigma/Sigma on Tim's shirt could be what we are looking closely for?

I guess so, The look closely will have to be refound and the theory of listening to all the audio as either a clip in chronological order or all together has to be tried out.

I don't know how much relevance this has, and I'm not sure if someone's already posted it, but Mr.Beyond, a close friend, and I noticed that in Impurity, during the last sequence of zeroes (the sequence that includes THERE WAS MRE) there are exactly fifteen zeroes between M and R.

Fifteen = O, the O that is missing from the word 'more'.

Also, the sequence of zeroes directly after begin spells out 'ZERO'. The block of zeroes that fills in part of the previous block spells 'ZERO', but reversed (upside down).

Thanks! Nice find mate; If we have an ordeal where we are missing a connection I will DEFINITELY recommend your post Smile

Might be nothing..

This struck me as odd. It might have been brought up in the ###### thread, but I admit I just scanned through it. This shows up while he's tossing his head about:

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

What's is that? It's like something is painted on the side of his face.. This might be nothing, but I dunno. I don't have the programs to frame-by-frame it.

Having watched the video, this is an artifact of the visual distortion. These are all frames that have been overlapped, and that mark that you refer to on the side of his neck is part of his ear and the mask.

Question, did we ever decode the "music" in this video?

Also might be nothing..

K so, I'm a newbie but please don't write me off..

Is it old news that in Entry 15, there is absolutely no distortion during the interview? & also, you barely see Tim's face and when you do, he's not looking straight at the camera?

Side Note: In Masky's videos (where he is featured) he doesn't look straight at the camera either. In fact, he makes a point of looking around, tossing his head everywhere... there's alot of importance on the senses. Listen. Look.

Eyes?!

But then again, Tim does cough one or twice..

Which relates to what I was saying, Jay is basically filming Tim from the neck down. You see him fiddling with the pen and paper, like he's uneasy with talking about the project.. I wonder if the sentence

"Yeah, he had a handheld that he was carrying with him all over the place.. COUGH"

is important at all..

Tim also freezes, well his hand does, when Jay asks if he knows where Alex is.. and his body language changes completely when asked about Brian..

Jump forward to Entry #20, in which we see that J is actively involved in the project, and even has a specific role: He's the script supervisor. The script supervisor's main job is basically to meticulously note every page of the script and every take shot to ensure that the footage obtained is fit to be edited together for the final product. which means a lot of looking out for elementary continuity errors (such as a magically appearing/disappearing cigarette).

TLDR: The script supervisor's role is vital to the smooth running of a production, and as a result they are very rarely (if ever) off set when shooting takes place.

With all that in mind, where's J in Entry #9? Nobody remarks on his absence, which is unusual given that everyone (especially Alex) is on edge and bickering about how badly things have been going. It looks like not only has J dropped off the earth by this point, but nobody else seems to be aware that he's missing.
[/i]

But Jay 'doesn't remember' being in Entry 20#.. And there's a hell of a lot of distortion, which could relate to the motif of memory erasure in its relationship with Slendy..

[in the following paragraph I will talk as if Masky=/= TTA, I am not insisting he isn't, its just for the sake of arguement *hides*]

Anyway, I don't agree that Masky is just a jackass who breaks into peoples houses. With the new stuff coming out it appears he is just as much a manipulator as TTA. Masky appears in the twitpic which predicts the waking up of Jay (and the release of #27), he also instructs Jay to WAKE UP. I think all that can be inferred from these Twitpics has been inferred, they were just set up and don't really hold any more clues.

I don't have access to youtube atm (I'm at work) can someone confirm - we don't actually see Masky in any TTA vids, right?

Hes in the house when he tackles Jay, hes in Entry #####, he plays tig with Jay in the mystery house, and the time he appears in Jay's room comes from Jay's camera but all of these appearences are in Entries - not TTA vids?

He's in Warning, to the best of what I think any of us can tell. We don't have anyone who has the super power to match eyes with the very little we see of them otherwise, but there you go.

Yeah- it's the first TTA vid he appeared in, for what I remember. Which always struck me as odd, since him not appearing in vids before could simply have been explained by "he was MAKING the video, hence not being in it".

I also find it interesting what ViolentViolet said- Tim didn't make eye contact with the camera during the interview- no distortion. The videos he DOES make contact with the camera:

-the entry with Alex in the gazebo. Towards the end there's huge audio distortion.

- entry 20, in which he stands in the window in front of Operaty. Huge distortion towards the end, where the whole video freezes.

The video in which he shows up towards the end- wth the painting, and J as script supervisor- he only looks at the camera very briefly.

Maybe "smile for the camera" has a connotation that when Tim himself smiled for the camera, he screws it up? He causes distortion simply by looking at it?

And presuming he's masky, when he DOES look directly into the camera (when he breaks into J's room, for example) there's all sorts of distortion.

Matches me observation. That the sound and picture for Entry 15 is crystal clear because Tim does not look directly at the camera..

Holy shit, you may be on to something.

In other words, I think this is a very valid theory. I wonder if the same thing happens for anybody else.

Geez, I didn't even notice you mentioned my name. DOY, it matches my theory.

But yeah, I didn't even consider when he breaks into J's room...

Okay, also.. not sure if this has been put forth either, but does anyone else question what would happen if neither Jay nor Alex were filming themselves (for the sake of preserving memory).. if it is the case that Slendy only sees through these forms of 'eyes'??

I watched Entry 14 again.. and Alex gets all bleedy-faced despite him filming himself, or the door, rather, the whole time... I also wonder why Alex didn't notate the tapes himself to see whether or not he remembered being Slender-fucked. Would've been somewhat easier..

I don't know if this happens for anyone else... obviously Alex makes plenty of eye contact with the camera and never distorts it, same with J...

However, if we ARE going to go with tim=masky, then it should be noted that whenever J or Tim displays "slendersickness", they're together. I'd brought this up before in another thread a long time ago, but it bears bringing up again.

In the first trip to the house, of course, we see Masky having his seizure, and J has a coughing fit right after their extremely close contact during the little tussle. During the interview, Tim coughs a little- not enough to be distracting, but enough to notice.

Likewise, we see Tim exhibiting symptoms in 20- when he enters the house with Jay and Alex. But in 9, when he's only around Alex, no sickness. And Jay himself starts to show symptoms in 17- he's cold, wearing a jacket indoors like Tim is in 20. Again, the two of them are in the same room.

It's been brought up very often that Tim has some sort of residual effect lingering around him from overexposure to Slenderman, but I think the "sickness" is actually something unique to Tim and J, since Alex was obviously exposed to Slenderman quite often and never exhibited any symptoms. I think J and Tim may just be... a lethal combination together, like opposite polarity magnets. Their proxmity causes a negative reaction.

In this case, I think it's a vicious cycle. If they WEREN'T filming themselves, maybe there would be no Operator. However, because of the Slender-paranoia, they fear forgetting anything and hence the filming themselves.

I think the reason Alex didn't really notate his tapes was because he only meant them to be viewed by himself. J getting ahold of them was never meant to happen, and Alex would look at the tape himself and know for sure whether or not he remembered the events within.
