Greetings from Alabama!

This trip has been quite a ride and a frustrating one at that! I was
within miles of an occurrence and missed it! After so many events had
taken place in or near national parks or forests, I thought that this one
would follow suit and had been focused on Talladega National Forest. I
trusted that though so much that I missed the event by just a few
miles. I cannot believe that I came all this way, sleeping out in the wilds,
for nothing!

Well, to be fair, it wasn't exactly nothing. A strange event did occur
just up the road and I was able to get up there, talk to a few people,
and take some pictures. If the story is true, it's absolutely amazing
and something that I really wish that I had witnessed. While there were
two witnesses to the actual event, I was only able to interview one of
them. The other witness, an unknown man, disappeared in the resulting
fog and hasn't been seen since.

The first witness, a very nice guy in his mid 30s, explained that he
was working in his barn when he noticed one of his horses running at a
full gallop and a stranger standing not far from the fence watching. He
was curious as to who the stranger was and why the horse was so active
so he went to investigate. As he got closer he saw the horse come to a
stop mid-stride and it seemed as if he was encased in glass. Instantly,
fog began to bounce off the glass and within seconds the surrounding
area was completely enveloped in the fog. By the time he made his way to
the fence, the stranger was gone. As he turned to look towards the
horse, he noticed that the fog was clearing and that the glass had faded.
The horse stumbled out of the gallop stride and slowly walked out of the
area. We measured the area, still marked by a sort of chill, to be a
perfect 12 foot square.

As disappointing as it was too not witness the event first hand, it was
great to know that I had accurately predicted that one would occur. If
the pattern continues, another event will be happening in just a few
days and if all goes well, I won't miss it!

Other than that, I have no news. I should be home and back at work by
Monday. I'm surprised that I'm actually looking forward to it. A little
time away was exactly what I needed!

 		Actually, both Moriar and xnbomb concluded that the next event will take place in Alabama. *applaudes* Moriar took a stab at the date, guessing that it'd be Oct. 31...so that part didn't quite work out, but I'm very impressed by the Alabama bit...

Hahaha! Laughing I'm almost disappointed! But, good calls all.

The next event is mentioned, and again Beth thinks she knows where it is. Moriar speculated that it will be near Redland. Perhaps the Cascade Vortex, on Oct 31? Surely (joebrent) she would also have had to drive like a madwoman to make it to Alabama! Or, maybe the anomaly will be that she manages to drive from Alabama to Washington state in just a couple of days! Very Happy

If not Cascade Vortex or Redland (or hey, just WA) -- I'd suggest that whatever pattern there might have been to lead to Alabama, that isn't the same pattern that Beth is following.

This makes me wonder if there is indeed any pattern -- like I noted in this thread, any random assortment of points on a line might show some kind of spurious "pattern" of oscillation. Perhaps whatever is generating these anomalies is looking at these forums and leading us down whatever path WE choose...

If xnbomb and Moriar had come up with good arguments for some other place, would we be hearing from Beth about that place instead?

Everyone think very hard about the CASCADE VORTEX, and just keep writing it down everywhere you can! Shocked

 		This anomaly is a strange one - I mean, all the anomalies are, but even as anomalies go itīs odd:
- all of the other ones have a "freakishness of nature"-style, but this business of a horse getting incased in fog-emitting glass...phew!
Too many things - we have had a cat in suspended animation, water turning red, light disappearing and all that, but it was like there has been only one "weird property" of each of the other incidents, whereas this one has the freezing horse, then the glass, then the fog - also thereīs the matter of the disappearing stranger - nothing like this was reported in any of the other cases.

I canīt quite describe why, but to me thereīs something different about this incident...

Just going way out on a limb here (itīs early in the morning here, so bear with me):
In Katīs dex we learn that, from Katīs point of view, Bethīs involvement in "the plagues" (this is a note to Kat herself, and doesnīt necessarily mean the incidents relating to the biblical plagues - she could just mean "all that supernatural stuff") is a +, implying that this leads Beth away from whatever it is Kat is involved in - what if the strange occurances are somehow (Big ???) being staged to divert attention from "it" (Katīs thang), and this one is bumped up to make sure itīs a good attention getter?
The disappearing stranger could then be a planted witness, whose job was to tell Beth - and noone else - something specific, and when she failed to get there he just left.
Or, he could be someone who is also on to this pattern of events, but doesnīt want to attract attention to himself.

As far as the pattern is concerned, we now know that in Bethīs opinion it has something to do with those Park areas - maybe we should revisit the pattern-figuring-out with this in mind...

If my theory is confirmed, it'll be very close to redland... My rough estimation says it'll be in the middle of the state of washington...

I hope it doesn't end to be in florida or my theory would be completely wrong Wink

So there I was talking to CASCADE VORTEX and he was like, "This CASCADE VORTEX made some sh*tty comment about my CASCADE VORTEX. And I was like, 'Man, don't make me come over their and shove my foot up your CASCADE VORTEX.'" And then we drove our CASCADE VORTEX over to the CASCADE VORTEX and ate some CASCADE... VORTEXES. And afterwards he wanted to CASCADE VORTEX me, and I said, "Not on the first CASCADE VORTEX."

Okay, I'll stop. Honestly, though, I do not think that this business with the horse is all that's going to happen this weekend. If that's it, I'd be disappointed. But then again, so would Beth. Oh, well. She did say she was trying to see another event in a couple of days (Halloween? *crosses fingers*)

 		anyone give any thought to the number 12 that Beth mentioned? maybe it has a relationship with 64?

I don't know if she meant 12 feet per side, or 12 square feet?

maybe its one of those things designed to make people like me obsess over an even number, but it might be something.

its a little vague, but it can't be a 12 square foot area, the horse wouldn't fit into it

My new guess is on Umatilla National forest...

Assuming it will happen in another national forest, i was looking for the EXACT place where the last event (102) took place....

Then i calculated the distance from event 100 and applied the same distance from event 101... it falls right in the middle of Umatilla national forest.

Here's xnbomb's map (hope u wont get mad i used and modified it ;o) ) with 2 new dots.. first one at the spot in alabama, second one, the closest from Redland, Umatilla forest.



To have a better look, here's a pic of the national parks of washington:



As u can see, Snoqualmie forest also falls in the line, but Umatilla is at the right distance....

I hope i'm right again! ;o)

 		well... i made a little mistake at making the line, so it doesn't fall EXACTLY on olympia forest.. anyway, maybe it would be event 105.. but it's too far away to be 103...
