 		[TROUT][SPEC] Lens Crack
About the Lens Crack! =P
Not sure if it's been brought up already in a previous post, but does the crack on the lens on the Super 8 website mean anything?

Also, not sure if there are other messages being hidden around the red letters that flash up. There are definitely odd patterns, but can anybody slow them down to better see them?

You can find more about the Kodak letters here. Check the "References" sticky at the top of the forum, and use the search feature to check for answers to your questions.

As for the cracked lens, my guess is that it's just an artistic choice meant to convey destruction and danger and wild alien parties.

 		What about the in story option that someone was at the scene, filmed the collision and the lens got cracked in the explosion/fallout? That person would probably agree that if alien creatures came out of a boxcar it'd be the scariest thing he ever saw...and once Big Brother is involved, it's not a huge stretch for a witness to go underground on the one hand, but try to find objective party to communicate with to get the word out, give answers to, with proof...
