It's been an inkling for me too. I'd have to say that great minds do think alike, but remember, small ones seldom differ.

Another update on WTCB, audio from the arsonist, doesn't sound good for Damien...

So what I get from Damien's latest post, and the overall story itself is, "hurr durr religion is bad and god's not real." I'm just really not fond of the overall story, or the blatant pretentious-ness of the author. It's interesting in cocnept, but I feel like the execution is very contrived. Oh well, just my thoughts on the matter.

Not sure I agree with you overall. I think if you wanted to draw a moral from this, it's that cults can leave you emotionally scarred. I'm quite intrigued at the moment with the storyline.

Eh, I'm kind of a jackass when it comes to these things. I'm opinionated, too, so that doesn't help. lol I still don't like the tone Damien uses or the story itself but I CAN see why others like yourself might.

I don't know, I just jumped onto this blog for the first time and I have to say it's pretty good- The multiple blogs idea was pretty nice, though I see STF was pretty upset that someone got to the idea first D:
But in general I like it- it doesn't rely too heavily on the supernatural as it seems SM is only PART of the fucked up things going on. The Fightclub-esque twist was pretty nice, too. I'm also glad a good amount of posts were up before all the spooky SM stuff jumped in.
So yeah, now following this thread and, as per that, this blog. considering I'm not big on sidestories, it's a bit of a compliment.

Did someone think to archive the posts that got deleted?

If you check over at the CUT! Thread, someone used google caches to recover deleted posts from that blog.... same might work here. I, sadly, am useless at things like that and have no idea how to do it >w< But if you know how to do it....

DreamsinDarkness just twitted a photo of some woods. Anyone see anything in it?
Edit: Is that SM there on the left?

I see what you mean, but I don't think it would be, no. I mean, I could be wrong, but I think he's just charting his journey through the forest at the moment, leading up to a money shot.
EDIT: Just peeped Damien's EXIF data for these photos, and they're for real. They're all dated today.

Seems that way. I haven't spotted anything in the next two. I keep waiting to click on one and SM be right there and the following oshioshi that will come from me afterwards.
Edit: I do believe we have liftoff. Looks like that might be the Slendster dead ahead in that last shot. Maybe. Though I find it interesting that the first 3 shots were large, but this one is MUCH smaller.

Yeah, I thought that too. It's a little bit too weird to be anything else. The craziest thing to me is that the EXIF details are current, although I haven't checked that last one.

For my own amusement; Making personal bet that he looks in window of dilapidated building and sees either SM inside, or something equally creepy.
